Where to fill up gear oil in Ford Festiva

Question:

I have an 1988 Ford Festiva with manual transmission and cannot find the spout for adding more transmission fluid.

Answer:

The transmission is filled through the speedometer gear housing.

thank GOD this comment was on here.. we had to replace the right axle on my 1989 ford festiva and lost some tranny fluid and could not find where to put more back in... thank you thank you thank you

Thank you whoever left the comment about where the gear oil goes. I have been tryin to figure it out for months
