Question:

I downloaded a *.CCD file - what is that and how do I burn such a CCD file?

Answer:

CCD = Clone CD.
To burn this CCD image file you need these files for each CD:
*.CCD, *.IMG und *.SUB

You can download a 21 day evaulation version of the CloneCD software at
