My sister was almost scammed by this guy on ChristianMingle.com. Then we checked out his photo on tineye.com, and found out this identical picture was also associated with Desmond West and Tom Benson. 'Steve' claimed to originally be from Paris, France, then he moved to Redlands, CA. He worked in Real Estate. He said he would be moving to Florida soon and wanted to meet my sister.

Similiar stories , some of the same photos and others,
this time he is special ops stationed in Germany as 'Christian Tanner' Chris Tanner aka 1st sargent. He has a house in Boston and an apartment in NYC. He has a daughter 15. Wants me to open up reloadable cards and he will send me money to then pay his bills. I said no because I did not know where the money was coming from. He also has two different names on OK Cupid. One out of new york city and one out of Nebraska with the same photo with the striped black shirt. I received different photos. I received one with that black shirt with two family members from Christmas.
four or five miltary photos, different from the ones on this site and 6 photos of him in civilian attire. I feel bad for the real guy that had his identity stolen. The only one that is the same is the one with the black stripped shirt. He states his auto business if failing in Boston and he needs me to buy supplies with the money he sends me. I said no and he said good bye.

This guy 'Brian William' wrote me on okcupid. His sign-on was BrianWilly. He said he's a widow, an engineer and other normal sounding stuff.
I wrote him back with my regular email and right away he called me beautiful, etc. which I KNOW is a red flag for scammers. American guys for real don't do that. He grammer was pretty good, so I guess he's got practice. I gave him my number and he said he was busy and gave me a #, which I reverse searched and it was in Houston, TX. I'm in Jacksonville, FL, which isn't that unusual, but he wrote back for me to call him. I had asked him twice to call ME and was on high alert when he couldn't call me and I had to call him. Also, he'd ask if I slept well with a question mark. That's not proper, but I try to give men the benefit of the doubt. I decided to search is photo(s) since he wouldn't call me and I had to call him.
Beware he's a scammer. I found this 'main' first photo with him at a bar on 3 scam alert sites.
