Other Comments: I have been talking to this man since March 2013. He told me he was in the Army and was an E-6 and retiring in June. Unfortunately I fell for his story and sent a lot of money when he requested it. First was a computer and then the computer had a duty fee that had to be paid. Next the computer had a crack and he was sending it along with a baggage of money back to the states via the diplomat(what a joke) Again there was custom fees and money for the diplomats hotel. Eventually when I could not send more he kept up with getting an early release and going to Ghana to pick up suitcase and he needed money for hotel and food. The last straw was for a camera which I did not send. I wish I had found this site a long time ago.
I am sorry that you are scammed and thank you for your report, please report this scam to your local police and FBI as you have lost money. You have communicated with scammers from Ghana not this soldier on the photos. The soldiers photos are stolen and badly abused in love scams. The thing I will advice you to do is to change emaialddress as once victims have sent money to these scammers the more they will try to scam you even more and with other scammers contacting you too.Do not reply or answer any mails .If you had contact per phone do not take the scammers calls anymore.Scammers are very persistent and do not give up so easily. It is very easy to fall for these kind of scams. You are not alone to have been scammed by West-African scammers like this.If you wonder about anything please do not hesitate to ask.Could you post some of the mails he sent you .The mails are formletters copied and pasted the scammers are using to groom their victims with ,so scammers do rarely send personal mails to their victims.
