I'm sorry, but the lady in white was pasted to the picture. She is not really in this picture can't you tell??? She is super imposed on picture with the other people. Look real close, even though this is not real crisp, even I can see that....

Has anyone ever heard from an Obed Mensah from Ghana. He goes by the nickname Method. All these stories sound just a little too familiar, and I need to know if anyone else has had contact. He was on Match.com under the profile MethodMensa. Extremely handsome, I might add. I have included pics.

And the list goes on: Here are some more names and numbers to add.

Patrick Nash, states he is from Florida, then has business in Ghanna to buy gold and diamonds, then, of course, his son gets sick and he says to send him money to get his son out of the hospital. As if a hospital would hold a patient for randsome. Then, he sends me gifts, but the gifts are from me and to me. I contacted one of the companies and told them I had never ordered anything. They were able to verify that my phone number was not the number that was given. This man has a profile on Udate.com under the name Preciousman205. He uses Trueman_love4u on Yahoo and PreciousMan205 on AOL. He also has an MSN account, but I don't know the name there.

Then there is Patrick Nash Mills, who also goes by the name of Seth and states he is from Georgia. He uses BladeSteel300 on Yahoo. He says he is in road work and estate development. Since I was in land development, I confronted him about the work and he knew nothing about it and then, of course, had to go,.......in a hurry. He says he is in Ghanna on business but wouldn't state what the business was. BladeSteel300 uses the same profile on Yahoo as the first Patrick Nash.

Then, there is Jack054 on Udate. He uses the name Jack_moor54 on Yahoo and says his name is Jack Moor (no 'E' at the end) and states that he lives in New Jersey and sells cars. He supposedly also has a son.

They all seem to have sons now.

What I would like to know ladies, is what is the purpose of this present sending scam. Can it hurt our credit? What other repercussions are there? It is actually frightening me a little. Can someone tell me how to get the 'presents' to stop? Please help me. I am scared. I do not have a photo of any of them, but on Udate.com, under the above profile names there are photos there, that I am sure are not really them. Please help me.

I sent the letter below to LoneliDave who had posted here on your site.

Hello Dave, I read your post online and wanted to contact you. I have been in contact with THREE scammers from Ghanna. They were all on Udate.com. One uses the name Jacko54 there and two of them use the same name, Preciousman205. Their Yahoo names are: Bladesteel300, who says he is from Georgia and is an estate developer. When I asked him if he meant land developer he said that was correct. Then I told him I was in land development myself and we could have lots to talk about, he suddenly changed his profession. Saying it was a mistake.......then there is: trueman_love4u. Trueman_love4U says he is from Florida and has just gone to Ghanna to buy gold. Two days later he asked me to send him money. I didn't, of course. However, he is using my name and address and sending things to me. He is ordering them in my name and then sending them to my address. I don't understand why, but he is. He also goes by the email preciousman205 on AOL. He said he also has an MSN name, but I don't know what that is. These, two, BladeSteel and PreciousMan both use the name Patrick Nash, but Blade Steel says that he changed his name to Patrick Nash Mills. His Yahoo profile says that his name is Seth. Then there is Jacko54 on Udate.com. He is also in Ghanna. He goes by the name Jack Michael. His Yahoo name is: Jack_moor54. The biggest clue is that these men say they live in the US and are from the US, but they can't understand English. I wish someone would do something about it. And I am worried about these packages that are being sent to me and ordered under my name. What can the repercussions be? I am worried. Can you help out at all?

For the lady who was dealing with the multiple versions of Patrick Nash, call the cops now…. If your identity is being used to rack up charges with consumers, then this is a case of identity theft (possible felony) and you should be able to get the police to check your computer for his IP address and track this joker down. In the meantime contact the three credit bureaus to protect your credit information. I would hate to be him if he is in the U.S. Make sure to give the police all the emails, photos, websites, his email addresses, phone numbers, text chats whatever you have on this person. Also, contact the post office to make sure you don’t get deliveries to you from you. They can call or notify you if they receive things for you in this situation. By the way, mail fraud is a felony too… Do your homework and make sure to cover all your bases!!! Good Luck!

This is the lady with the multiple Patrick Nashes. I did some checking today with some of the companies this man is sending me stuff from. They have flagged my name so that it can't be used for purchasing. From what I have learned, the scam goes like this. They get a person online (male or female), then they say they would like to send you a surprise and ask for your address. Then they send little trinkets to you. Then you will get a package for something that you know is not for you. You ask them about it and they say that the company must have made a mistake and would you mail it to them. If the victim mails the package to them, they have instantly committed a felony. Mail fraud, possibly coupled with credit card fraud. The purchases they want you to mail to them are things like shoes & clothing and as they learn to trust the victim, the items get more expensive. By having the victim mail it to them, they think they can't be found out.

Local police will do nothing about it. They said it was not in their realm.

The credit bureaus will do nothing about it either, unless they are using your credit card, which is not the case. They use stolen credit cards and they use stolen cell phones whether or not it is connected. They have the number and that is what they give to the companies they are purchasing from.

The advice I was given is to refuse all packages that you know you did not order.

Just so you all know, here are two phone numbers, both now disconnected that they are using: 587-321-4567 (Massachusetts) 632-587-4245 (Michigan). These came from a company where my scammer was trying to order. Now, these two number, if you will notice both have '587' in them. So, in this case they could have been made up numbers.

One of the companies I talked to also told me that he is using SoloBrowner@Yahoo.com

By the way, the email that I sent to Loneliedave came back as a mailerdaemon. There is no such address. Lonelidave is most likely one of the scammers. After my posting last night, PreciousMan took his photo off of Udate.com. Isn't that interesting?

Actually you should file a police report and then submit your information to the Attorney Generals Office in your State and the State these folks claim to be from. I know the State I live in takes these interstate issues to a new level. Let's just say, death by lethal injection is common here!!! So, we are far from playing little boy games - you heard me! Also, the FBI can use your data to include in the large book of information they collect. The credit bureaus should allow you to password protect your credit information and not allow any transactions to occur without a call to you first. I know, I’ve done this and it works. Hell even I couldn’t get a credit card without having the credit card company calling me and the credit bureau too just to verify I requested a credit card. It's sad we have to protect ourselves from idiots that have nothing better to do then try to take peoples hard earned money. Good Luck!

Thank you for putting a stop to these scammers. I met this girl on singlesnet.com she told me she was in Philadelphia. After I started talking to her, she then told me she went back to Ghana. she said she is a twin but her twin sister died, and her father died in a car accident. she scammed me of $350.00 before I realise what she was up to. One day she asked me for money to buu a red dress to wear to a graduation they were having, after claiming she was in nursing school. I sent her the money. she sent me the pictures she claimed she took that day, only the same pictues turned up on a different site which she has not visted since last year. On this site she has a different name and claims she is from Liberia not Ghana this time. So I started to look some more, that when I found her on several sites with different names also from different countries. she scams with her uncle named David Leser. Dont buy their gold story with goldmine investment company limited. I have the all the fake Documents they sent me trying to get $8650.00 to clear the gold from the investment company so they can ship it to me so I can sell it and help her sick mother in the hospital. she chats with the falling hearts, and does not spell very well or write wel either. her gramer is equivalent to that of a 10th grader.
