I have just met a guy on eharmony whose name is emmanuel mensah, he said he grew up in ghana and now owns a real estate business in the U.K. would this be the same person.

Without more details is hard to tell if these are scammers.........apparently there is a tennis player with the name of Emmanuel Mensah age 19 years old from Ghana. But more details are needed. Scammers use fake names and photos to hide their true identity. A lot of the photos scammers use are stolen from modeling agencies with information online.

If they are in Africa its 100% scam.

I read a lot of messages on this site where people will read a lot of whats on this website then they will turn around and ask if they are being scammed. It seems they are not convinced after reading all this info. Maybe they are hoping that they will be the lucky one to not get scammed. Or, possiblly the person they are talking to has them so convinced that they really believe that it's real. Sometimes they even point the scammers to this website, hoping that the scammer is actually going to say you are right I am scamming you. Of course they are going to deny it.

It seems there are users on here who are tired of reading the same questions: is this person trying to scam me? Even thought there are about 100 pics of the person online already. So the replys are dwindling from what I used to see before.

As many users have stated before, if its from Africa its a scam. They sit in the internet cafes and scam people from all over the world.

I have friends who are from Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon etc. They all tell me the same thing, women do not spend time behind the computers over there. Only the guys spend all their time on the computer. If you see a family that is well off which are actually in Accra, you may see their kids in the library, school, church etc. You don't see them in internet cafes or hanging out on the street corners.

They also told me that if these women were really in africa, what about all those african men over there with money. Do you think those women would still be single. There are good looking men in africa too, not all of them are ugly.

Be wise, if you want to get scammed, get scammed from someone from your own country. Otherwise fly out to one of those foreign countries and look for someone. You are definitely not going to get lucky on the computer, you will quicker get scammed online.

Well ladies as there are no photos here to show of this emmanuel mensah you have met on eHarmony let me say from what I've learned if you have photos of a WHITE man claiming he is from Ghana and in Africa is 100% SCAM and if this man has not asked you for money yet........more likely he will soon enough.

White man in West Africa = SCAM = SCAMMER - BEWARE and BE CAREFUL

Another important point is that ROMANCE SCAMMERS are that because they Romance us to gain our trust - I've read comments online from admitted scammers saying this - and once they gain our trust........they go for the money. So go figure.

What e-mail address was Daniel Tagoe using? When he sent you the roses they were most likely paid for with a stolen credit card.

I have been on line with Daniel Rockson Tagoe, supposedly 47 yrs old for over a week now. He Appeared on chat through Lavalife. Said he was coming out to australia to take me back to the states with him. I have a supposed photo of him & one of him and his 2 kids. Meant to be from New Jersey but presently in Accra, Ghana, Africia, as he owns the fruit juice factory there he just brought.
Said his credit card was not working at the Golden Tulip Hotel there where he is staying and wanted me transfer money to him through western union, but wanted me to put it in the name of Ishmael Owusu and also gave me a postal address to go with it too.It is: P.O. Box ds 2246, Dansoman-Accra, Ghana. Didnt sound right to me so I looked up both names on my pc and found this! He sounds very convincing but has flaws in his stories if you listen hard. He even rings me on my mobile. BEWARE. ph number he rings off is private but he slipped up tonight and rang from a listed number 0282094700. email address he is presently using is lypso4luv@live.com and Don Dan through yahoo.
