This man claims to be a business man from Allen, TX. USA. He is mixed race (afro-haitian and caucasion.) He says he is widowed, has a son, and purportedly a religious man. He has a heavy French accent and speaks Creole, French, and English. The picture he uses is of a well put together man, very clean, and handsome. Extremely mannerable... in short, he is a CHARMER.

He will email you first, but will eventually call you. I pressured him to do so, so I could know who I was dealing with. He claimed to be in McAllen TX., but was going to Scotland for 'business.' He then claimed his mother became extremely ill and flew her in to Scotland for treatment of leukemia. I began to ask tons of questions about his mother and her recovery, but his answers were vague. I raised an eyebrow in suspicion when he told me that he was going on another business trip to Mayalsia without his son. When I asked him who would keep his boy, he replied that his mom would care for the boy in his absence. Now, I am NOT a medical doctor, but it doesn't take an MD to know that a woman recently treated for leukemia cannot watch This man claims to be a business man from Allen, TX. USA. He will email you first, but will eventually call you. I pressured him to do so, so I could know who I was dealing with. He will also quickly begin to speak of connections, love, and commitment. He claimed to be in McAllen TX., but was going to Scotland for 'business.' After he arrived in Scotland, he claimed his mother became extremely ill and he flew her to Scotland receive treatment of leukemia. I raised an eyebrow in suspicion when he told me that he was going leave Scotland to go on another business trip to Malaysia, without his son. When I asked him who would keep his boy, he replied that his mom would care for the boy in his absence. Now, I am NOT a medical doctor, but it doesn't take an MD to know that a woman recently treated for leukemia cannot watch after a four year old boy. I was curious to see what this guy was up to, so I continued to play along with him.

He did indeed go to Malaysia, as I checked the IP address, where he was supposedly fighting for monetary compensation for equipment that was a part of a business deal that he wanted to end. Allegedly, this business deal was brokered by his late father and he wanted to liquidate the contract due to the father’s death (it just keeps getting more interesting!) He gave me too much person info about his finances to have only known me for a month’s time, which was a red warning light flashing!

He wanted my input on these dealings. Then he began to ask for person info from me, bit by bit. He then started mentioning money problems. His stay out of the country was becoming more and more expensive. He then began mentioning that he had to pay a demurrage fee to release his money from this business deal. This fee, he said, was $60,000! He then asked for my financial support. When I refused, he started going doing a list of ways for me to get funds for him. He asked about where I bank. He even had nerve to ask me about my credit cards! Needless to say, once he realized that I was not going to fall into his trap, all communication with him ceased.

If you happen to run into his profile somewhere online, run like HELL in the opposite direction! He is a con-artist just waiting to find someone who he may deem as easy prey.
You will most likely find him on Afro-centric dating websites such as SoulSingles.com or EbonyDateOnline.com. When my suspicions beaconed me to do some research on this guy, I found this website. I followed one blogger’s advice to ask for pics on a regular basis to see if the person was legitimate. I pressured him for pictures frequently. He put me off on several occasions. I surmised that he had a limited number of photos of whomever’s image he is using, as he asked me how many pics he had already emailed to me. He only has 3 to 4 pics. I have posted one on this sight. Be careful!

I also want to add that his writing is of poor quality, but he is very well spoken. When he sends emails to you, place a few lines into a search engine like Google. I promise you, that you will get some hits in return as he plagiarizes from other sources.

Since running into the scammer (I never dreamed I would be targeted!) I have received tons of hits in dating websites where the con artist has used some form of the name David. The names are very generic, common names. Their usernames usually use the words caring or seeking in the name. Con artist 'Dave Brown' uses the username 'Caringdove.'
