I met him on Yahoo personals, We talked for about 2 months he said he was working there and coming home soon, to Bartlesville, Ok. He asked for 1400.00 to pay for an attorney. I told him no, then a few weeks later he asked for more money, I told him no. His 'ex wife' sent 6 cashiers checks for 720.00 all fake. I'm out 4300.00

Danny says he is a civil engineer working under his grandfathers conglomerate RCC, in Lagos Nigeria. He says his company's name in Pearson Civil Works. He is very charming and tells you everything that you would want to hear. He will wait several weeks before asking for money. He says his ex-wife lives in Canada with their daughter Sarah. The cashiers checks that went sent to me actually came from Georgia.

I had fallen for the same scam and out 1400. for his attorney fees. I did get the same story about his daughter Sarah that live in Canada and that he is working on drainage system for the African government. Now he is asking for addition 1500 for banking fees to get his money. I would like any suggestions on what to do next since we are still communicating. He is defiantly a sweet talker and I sure there are many more of us out there.

I, too, was in communication with this scammer. I had not sent money, however. I did talk to my friend at the FBI and he directed me to the website. It's an information gathering site supported by the FBI and the White Collar Crime Unit. They then shunt the information to the local authorities where the scammer is. I also sent a feedback to Yahoo. There are so many of these scammers out there, I'm not sure that they are able to catch each and every one, but we can halp by giving them all of the information that we can.
Thank you for your information on this guy. My family actually did the internet search for me. I had done one on Google, but with the erroneous information that he provided, so it turned up nothing. There is another website that the IC3 sends you to...if it's too good to be true, it is! Be careful, my Friends, and best of luck!

I was starting to get scammed by this guy but caught on pretty quickly so he is still out there. I never would have given him money. He has the same story but a different (younger) picture. I hope he ends up in jail.
