James Monroe attempted to scam me. Phone number given was 314-394-8693 (Kirkwood in St. Louis, MO) and email given '' This scammer seems real. Contacted me with well written 'letters' emails, then phone calls but was vague. Then called me several times but his accent did not match fake profile. Sounded british, austrailan or from Ghana, Nigeria. Voice was distorted and there seemed to be a slight delay in answering questions. Voice seemed mechanical and not real. I was called by James Monroe from this number and was somehow cut off and when I called back it rang and rang and finally someone hesitant answered to the same of 'James'. Before most of this happened I gave him my name, etc. He didn't get a chance to ask for money because I sensed something was not right. I would never given money to anyone regardless but this guy is good at flattery etc. He said he was self employed but didn't seem to match the profile given. His profile was only online a day or so. When he started contacting me, the profile was removed from Christian He also asked if I was corresponding with any other men on dating sites. Disappointed in this site and this scammer!! Looked him up and appeared on a website that was supposed LinkedIn but when member of this site tried to find James Moore he was not listed - just on a fake website from The Austin Company in St. Louis, MO

Oh the idiot James Moore tried it on with me - told me he was 'the best in his field' in petrochemicals or some drivel and he was on an oil rig in Saldanha Bay. There are no rigs in Saldanah Bay. I know this. I live in Cape Town. Also a sob story about him losing his wife. This time to pancreatic cancer and has a 17 year old daughter Lucy. As I read his emails I could see that they were being written by someone whose first language is not English. Different people were writing those emails. Apparently there was no airtime on the 'oil rig' and he wanted me to go and get him some and send it to him. I said I would only do it if he married me and took me to America and then sent him a list of things I required (totalling $200 000) before I would speak to him again. Also claims to be an Oxford graduate but can't string beads together let alone a sentence. I made the mistake of giving him my email address and he flooded my laptop with porn (all the time telling me how he loved to go to Church). I told him he was an arsehole There is no God but even that didn't put him off. Turn the tables and start 'scamming' them back. They disappear quite rapidly then. Claims to live at 700 Sparks Avenue, Austin Texas but I have seen other 'addresses' that the gives out. By the way I live on Neptune. Idiot.
