He is quite the romantic and claims he has a 7 year old son Nick, at times a daughter name Vera...He told me he was from Orrville, Ohio and lost both parents in an auto accident and inherited an art/antiquities business from his late father...Said he was originally from the UK and came to the states(explaining his thick accent) Loved McDonalds in the UK and was born in Texas...very poetic and romantic..a real Casanova type...gave story that he lost his wallet and all 'his funds' for food stuffs...tried to have me wire money Western Union to him...he will be very persuasive using the story of not wanting his son Nick to go hungry...we only chatted 10-11 days and he said that he wanted to marry me and be together forever that we were 'soul mates'...Be Very Careful!!!

This person is also known as James Best or Mafeng James Dung. I posted one on this person as James Best. Be very careful when dealing with this man he is dangerous. He claimed he had a 16 year old son and then told another person he was trying to con that he had a son that was 11. He claims he was in Cairo Egypt, then the UK, then back to Akron, Ohio. He will take your money and send gifts to other unsuspecting persons to win their trust. HE IS VERY DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED from hurting anyone.

Here is an email he sent me showing he 'supposedly' got his contract and wanted money to open bank account in Cairo Egypt so he could get his check from the 'security company'. Total bull.

Complemeint of the day.

Good Day,

I have waited so long for you to contact me for your Confirmable Bank Draft of $1,800,000.00 United States Dollars, but I did not get any reply from you. Then I went and deposited the Draft with SECURITY COMPANY, EGYPT.

I have traveled out of the country for a 6 Months Vacation because the Dr said I need alot of rest.

All you have to do now is to contact the SECURITY COMPANY as soon as possible to know when they will deliver your package to you because of the expiring date.

For your information, I have paid for safe keeping, Insurance premium and Clearance Certificate Fee of the Check showing that it is not Drug Money or meant to sponsor Terrorist attack in your Country.

The only money you will send to the SECURITY COMPANY to deliver your Draft direct to your postal Address in your country is (I dont know the amount) US Dollars only being Security Keeping Fee of the Courier Company so far.

Again, I would have paid that but they said no because they dont know when you will contact them and in case of demurrage.

You have to contact the SECURITY COMPANY now for the delivery of your Draft with this information below:
Contact person Mr. IBRAHEEM REMMY,
Tel: +20147147886

Finally, come up with this information in the claims form and forward it to them.

Full Names: Country: Home address: Occupation: Phone numbers: Fax Numbers: Sex: Marital Status: Mailing Address:

Let me repeat again, try to contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay and remember to pay them their Security Keeping fee which i dont know the amount.

Yours Faithfully,
Mr, Mike Anderson

Hi, I just wanted to make people aware that I had a scammer called JEFF LARRY make contact with me on the Australian dating website RSVP. He said he was in the US Army based in Afghanistan. I was a bit sus from the beginning but everything he said to me was so charming and nice that I conveniently overlooked the things that were ringing bells that this was not legitimate. Thank goodness the information on the website brought me to my senses and I realized my first instinct had been right. He didn't get a chance to ask me for any money...I just feel so stupid that I 'fell' for this...Thankyou to everyone who provided information about scams on this website and hopefully my information will help somebody else as well. Just remember your first gut feeling that something is not quite right is right most of the time.... oh by the way his email address is and he sends all these photos of someone in the US Army not sure who...he also has the story about his wife having died 6 years ago, his parents having been killed and having 2 sons Paul and Noah ages 9 and 12 although he got the ages mixed up a few times...

I was scammed big time by the man in the picture, with red ball cap on. Said he lives in London/working on an oil rig in the atlantic. Had me convinced for a year and a half that he had been given a contract here in the states, but had to purchase his own machines. He said he had 2 daughters, Jenny and Sylvia who live with a Nanny in London. Accidently??? Gave me Jenny's email address; when I said I sent her an email immediately he said she got a virus on her computer and couldn't write me back. He even convinced me we were to marry and I be mum to the 2 girls. Unfortunately, I fell hard; didn't pay attention to the warning signals, as he honestly seemed so legitimate; didn't even catch on why he kept saying 'don't say anything to anyone'; his pictures were only for me. Unfortunately, I did send money to Nigeria for this man.
I believe now he is known as Chris Fred; Mark Vargas; Harry Woods
I finally broke this relationship off but really too late.

a way i can get in contact with

It's best not to go there! Identity theft victims are very defensive because they are
innocent and scam victims are ever blaming them and even making unfounded demands!

What more can be said? The internet is flooded with warnings...
Yet people send their money to strangers online...

Thanks Jenz,

on an ad

Are you saying that they are using it for advetising or
that it is there as a profile?

If it's a profile... we should gather and add to this report.
