BEWARE says he lives in Toowoomba Australia where his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident and three years later his mother dies, and in 2 days he is going to London and then on to Aberdeen in Scotland to work on oil rig. He writes great emails, poems, sends our 'special song'. Another death - his friend was killed on the Louisiana rig explosion but when I checked this his friend Michael Petersons' name was not on that list. On his return trip to London he has his brief case stolen with bank details and passport copy. He now needs 4500 pounds to pay for his hotel. I have the emails he sent if you need them.

He is now going by the name of Richard Samspon@yahoo.com
He was on the website Match.com & is still on it with another pic saying that Someone Hacked His account.

the phone # he gave me is (530) 793-5180 telling me to text him, which I have found this is a Landline out of California (which is NOT where he said he was living), even though he is supposedly working in Malaysia

Your wisest choice is to have her view this site just as you have done.
Exchanging personal information to unknowns online is the scammers way!
Also the way they trick and pretend to be what they are not in real life.

Re:Eric Wilson Meyer- using a new name!
I was contacted last Friday by a man on Match.com, using the name of Ralf Schneider from Ft. McMurray Alberta Canada. He said he was divorced, son is 19, in Oxford University In the UK. He said he is a contractor who owns his own business and is in Mylasia supervising a project. He used the same picture and said he would be back in canada mid-Dec. He even called me on his cell 778-747-2104, forgein accent but definitely not german like he said. So far, no money has been asked for. Fortunately I had just seen a show about Match.com being the worst for scammers. Stick to your own city where you can verify the person! These 2 pictures I could not reverse match. The other 3 are all the same as on every other site.

Thanks for the update ! The accent you heard was probably Nigerian pidgin English. All dating sites are targeted with scammers ,people has to learn how to spot scammers very early but scammers are smooth and very manipulative and acts very fast when potential victims are on the hook. Block the scammer and do not answer on the phone no more.Even if the scammer has not asked for money ,he will be patient and wait until the right moment arises. Post emailaddress the scammer is using .

All kind regards //Miss Marple//
