Name: Parker Lopez
Other Comments: Met this guy on match; a few emails later he was in love with me and soon started asking for money and to send it through Western Union to Accra Ghana to a Richard Afriyie. He also goes by the name John Manuel, Srgt. Steve Lopez and of course Parker Lopez. He is also on Facebook under these names.
Someone just registered with these pictures posing as Geyhard on OK Cupid. Said that today (1/13/18) was his first day on the OK Cupid site and first time doing it. He had posted a picture of a girl with blue eyes (I didn't take a screen capture of it). It looks like he has now disabled his account. When I asked why he didn't post a pic, he said that he was afraid that scammers would steal his pics. Said he was Norwegian. I gave him my email and he sent me two pictures there. He then found me on Google Hangouts and sent one more. I will be posting the third one because the other two are already on this site (the one with the blue short sleeve shirt, and the one with the dark blue sweater). His email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
He tells me that he is a Major in the US Army and stationed in the Middle East, Syria. Ask if I was ok with it. I told him as long as we get to video chat at some point. He says he will work it out. He states his MOS is Air Defense Artillery and works in field 14 or field 17. He did not give any details on what that meant, just that there were many differences. He has been stationed there for 18 months and will be there for 2 or 3 or 5 more months. He said he had brought an iPhone 6 with him but it had gotten stolen while he was on night duty patrol. He is accessing Google Hangouts via his boss' old laptop that doesn't have a camera (he brought the camera part up).
He wrote:I am a Christian, I am Honest, Faithful, Caring, Loving, Giving, Respectful of others, I lead a very active life style, I enjoy going out for movie. i am looking for a honest, loving caring woman, humble, faithful and trust worldy woman to spend the rest of my life with. I am not just looking for a shorterm relationship but i am looking for a relationship that will last till the end of time. I want a woman that will treat me like a real man and will never hurt me for any reason.
He asked for my full name (I only provided my first name) and birthdate (I only provided a month and date, but was not real). I asked for my real age, which I stated was real. Says he has a 16 year old daughter and studies in Australia. He is divorced, about 4 years and have not dated. He has a home in West Palm Beach, Florida. When he retires (soon), he will be picking up his parents' business - gold selling and beach resort. Says that he loves cars and owns many - benz 2015 model of s550, 2014 range rover sports, camaro, ford mustang an.
I asked how he was able to access his pics if he didn't have his phone. He said he had a pen drive.
I asked for more pictures. I will post if he sends them
On January 19, 2017, The Western Union Company (Western Union), a global money services business headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, agreed to forfeit $586 million and entered into agreements with the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission. In its agreement with the Justice Department, Western Union admitted that it violated U.S. laws—The Bank Secrecy Act and anti-fraud statutes—by processing hundreds of thousands of transactions for Western Union agents and others involved in an international consumer fraud scheme. As part of the scheme, fraudsters contacted victims and falsely posed as family members in need or promised prizes or job opportunities. The fraudsters directed the victims to send money through Western Union to help their relative or claim their prize. The Department of Justice hired Gilardi & Co., LLC to serve as the remission administrator in this matter.
If you believe you were a victim of the fraud described above and you made a wire transfer through Western Union between January 1, 2004 and January 19, 2017, you may be eligible for remission.

He also goes by Lopez Morrison I met him on Facebook he hasn't asked me for anything that's why I talked to him. He's still texting and calling me after I found this website. It's a same he's a scammer because he's nice looking if that's really his picture. There should be a law against people like this. He had me to talk to 'his son' which was nice but i feel really stupid trusting him. I looked up Lopez Morrison couldn't find anything til he gave me the name parker Lopez Morrison. Then I found this website. I hope they find this man and he goes to jail.
This guy is still very active on dating sites. I thought he was very pushy and aggressive from message number one and that doesn't fly with me. I was on POF very recently and he contacted me as John M. Immediately asked me to go off the website. Immediately started being creepy always saying he was always 'concentrating on us'. Would not answer questions about himself or where he was. He went creepy strong about how I had to trust him if I wanted a relationship with him. This was like message #4. I guess he thought because I was blonde I was dumb. I don't believe in instant romances or love at first sight. I then took his pics and ran them on image.google.com and found out all about him. He is still using the same photos which may be stolen from some innocent guy. I did not face time with him to find out, he was too creepy and pushy. Ladies beware especially if you fall easy. I politely suggested if he wanted to be more successful at his deception he may want to run his images that he is using on google and he would find several post that he may find interesting. Never heard from him again. Now his mom is alive, didn't mention his dad, wife was killed in car accident 2 years ago, no kids, grew up in Florida, deployed but won't say where. He didn't ask me for anything but it didn't take long for me to suspect him and to google his pics.

Very helpful site. I was scammed by the Lopez scammer. I did lose some money before I got smart. I can tell by the photos that the real person has been used over the years or maybe the real person started out as a scammer. I was a military wife and caught the red flags. The name for me was Josh Lopez-Matta. There are many out there with that name even where I live.I am too embarrassed to tell my family. I am retired and well educated but my heart was soft.I hope the real person is not the scammer. Karma will get the rest of them. My scam started on Facebook but scammer wanted us on Hangouts ( harder to track ) there was a woman real name on FB is Ruth from Ohio. He asked me to send money thru Western Union because she was working under the wire to help military. Western Union sent me confirmation that she picked up the money with ID. I contacted her on FB she was was quite nasty and said I did not know what I was talking about. I know that Western Union staff have set up scams. So I am out of luck. I saw her photo under a crochet site on FB so warning that not many can be trusted anymore. I hope this gives solace and be strong. If something is too good to be true it probably is. I have been contacted by about 8 scammers but caught them early. there are so many photos of this person I will not post any.
This man also goes by the name of Colonel Warren Justman. Similar story he's in Afghanistan and has 8 weeks before he comes home to retire. He's widowed, parents past away and has no siblings. His wife died giving birth and so did his son. Immediately I noticed a Red Flag when he had misspelled words and plagiarized quotes from the internet. I went along with it until he asked for a couple of items to ship to him. (shower gel, shaving cream, Advil and a phone). Really like the Military doesn't supply them with these items. I asked him to text me from his US Army e-mail address and that's when he said he couldn't. Hahaha I knew he was a Scammer!!!!!!! Unfortunately, they have stolen the identity of this poor Military man and these LOW LIFE SCAMMER'S NEED TO BE CAUGHT!!!
