Met this guy on an on-line dating website..Said he lived in San Francisco, and was a widower. Had a 13 year old son who was being cared for by his aunt in Italy as he travels so much. He kept making dates and breaking them because of his work..we chatted on yahoo messenger quite a bit...we did have good conversations, but then he asked for money when he was on his trip. He said needed the money to cover the cost of some work-related expenses as some equipment broke and he didn't have enough cash to cover the expenses. He'd lose his business without it..I got upset and refused. I told him I thought he was a scammer. He apologized and said he was insulted that I thought this. He said he loved me and only asked me because he thought we had a connection and that he could come to me to ask for my help. He said he finally got the money from his aunt. He kept sending me e-cards, emails and we kept chatting via yahoo messenger. After awhile he again asked for money....(this time a lower amount). This time he needed the money for some other business-related expenses while he was out of the country (again, because he didn't have enough money). Kept asking him why he didn't bring more money with him on his trip and why he didn't just call his bank directly. He was very manipulative....he did say he would pay me back and that he loved me and we'd be together forever.. kept saying he'd lose his contract, his business, etc. Asked him for confirming info that he was coming home, his home address, number and an email with a ticket info. He emailed me a copy of his booking confirmation from KLM as well as gave me his home address, which does show a 'David Knight' in the yellow pages. He has also called me from the 415-932-8911 number as well. The 38094638263 Phone number was the phone number of the Ukraine apartment where he was staying while 'working' in the Ukraine, and was the number he also listed on his KLM plane 'ticket'. I even confirmed the flight times / dates from the ticket he emailed to me and those were correct. I kept talking with him even though I got upset at him every time he would ask me for money. I did continue to tell him I thought he was a scammer, which he continue to deny. He was very manipulative and convincing...did end up sending him some money...then didn't hear from him for 3 days after I sent him the money.. then got an email from an 'MD' (Dr. Alan Doe), who says David has been hurt.. I felt this finally was a scam, so I sent off an angry email saying I was informing the FBI because I feel David is truly a scammer and that the MD is a fraud. David sent an angry yahoo message saying he's been hurt and in the hospital for 3 days and how dare I accuse the MD of being a fraud after he has helped him. The MD also emailed back defending himself. I felt bad as it did seem legitimate. David said he was in the 'hospital' for 3 days, as he said he was 'robbed' at gunpoint on his way to the airport to catch his flight to see me. He said he was robbed of his computer and that the computer he was using in the hospital was the MDs...as David was manipulative, I felt bad. After a day or so, all of a sudden, here it comes again, another request for money to pay his hospital bill. I told him I didn't have any money as I had already sent him money before. I asked him why he was getting a bill as he was a victim. He said he was in a private hospital not public hospital. His aunt even emailed me as well.. His aunt was able to get money for a majority of the bill, but again, I felt bad and sent him a few hundred dollars...I didn't hear from him for 4 days..he was supposed to be on his way back to the US to San Francisco. The only thing I received after 4 days after sending him money, was an e-card with a message about how much he loved me, but no call or anything else that he had gotten home. Finally I came to my senses and have reported this to the authorities as well. Hopefully posting his pic will prevent this from happening to other women..
