Can you please see if this person is a real person or a scammer. He does show up on scammer sites. I am still talking to him but have not sent him anything thing else. I sent him money once feeling sorry for him only fifty dollars thank goodness but then caught on when he continued to keep asking. I am still talking to him because I want to know who the real person behind the photos is if possible. His real name. If he really is in Accra, Ghana also or Miami, Florida. I would like closure. Please see if you can help find out. I have tried but no luck. He is really good. He was in the military but claims he just retired of course after twenty years. There are braden mooses that do show up when you run his name under military but i will not pay out money to find out. Maybe he is just a bad soldier. Either way I am not nieve I just want the truth.

Thanks for you help.
Jennifer

I have been talking to a man for about a month now. He says his name is David Moose and he is a Major. We have been talking about various subjects like art, religion, music, philosophy, politics, etc. No words of love, nothing about money, nothing suspicious so far. He speaks a perfect English, no grammar mistakes, not even spelling mistakes. The only problem is that the pictures he sent me are of the same man. Is he a scammer? The same scammer?

I would just like to know if a scammer can speak English perfectly with no spelling or grammar mistakes, and even use idiomatic expressions and if he can also talk about any topic being it literature ( he knows the name of writers and the books)or any other. I am chatting with a man for almost a who has the same photos posted here and also called Moose. So far nothing about money but he already said he loves me. He is not always online and when we discuss matters he doesn't take much time to answer. He has sense of humor and no promisses were made. Can he be a scammer or are there still honest people online?
I am alert and I am not going to send him any money or anything for that matter but I belive I am falling for him.

Yes,there are scammers that are good in english as many of them are infact university educated ,you do not see them so often as the ones who has bad grammar and you can recognize them at once, but do not get fooled by the templates the scammer sends you as they are copied and pasted from the internet ...

and even use idiomatic expressions and if he can also talk about any topic being it literature ( he knows the name of writers and the books)or any other.

I mentioned that these scammers are often university educated and especially in computers ,anyone who has experience on computers are fast into finding information during a chat session as well, anyone who knows how to use google can be smart ..so do not let that fool you either...

let me remind you that scammers are not stupid especially the ones who are old in the game ,they know how to lure and manipulate people with whatever ,scammers do not give much time to people especially the time before they start to ask for money...scammers can have many victims in the same time meanwhile he is talking with you and also they are operating out of gangs so you can be talking to an differnent guy every time as well...even if the scammer has not asked you for money which is obvious in this case ,he might do not think you are in love enough yet..scammers can prepare or groom people for months before they start asking for money...

I am very convinced you are talking to an scammer as he says he loves you ,just to manipulate and soften you up,and also as you have found your way to this site and found same name and pictures you are hooked up by an scammer ,CUT with the scammer at once ,you are also mentioning that you are falling for him ,you are in danger ...this how it begins...

Thank you Miss Marple, I really appreciated you comment. I'll cut with him right now.
Is there a possibility of finding out who the man on the photos really is?
I am really sorry for him

I do not know who the real guy is on the photos ,seems to be multiple names on facebook and hits on some dating sites too, scammers changes names often so it is hard to know if it is an genuine person a scammer behind the accounts ,but what i know for sure that you are dealing with an Nigerian scammer ,the scam reports shows IP numbers from Nigeria, yes it is very sad how scammers abuse peoples photos to scam people with ,this guy is an victim on ID theft and has nothing to do with any scams .post the current emailaddress and if you have more photos than the ones which are posted here already, please post the scammers introduction mail (the very first one you received from him)
I am very happy you did listen to me in this as these scammers are very good into what they are doing to people ,i have met victims on this site that have been ruined both financially and mentally ,better give money to charity or cancer research than to the hands of Nigerian scammers.

All kind regards //Miss Marple//

I talk to this man for over 9 months. He really had me fooled before I found out there were scammers to begin with. This was when I was new to online dating. I reported him to the internet FBI site and the military site as he posed to be a U.S. solider which is sickening. I really thought his life was at risk in Afghanistan. He told me he lived here in the city I live in. That he was coming home last March and we would start a life together. He told me he does have a son and a daughter. I have so many emails and pictures of him. Luckily I wanted to see where things proceeded but the red flags were still up. His English and writing are perfect. He told me he loved me also. I cannot believe they still have yet to catch him. He must be one of the head Ghanian scammers or something. PLEASE BEWARE. Do not believe him. Luckily I only lost 600.00 in funds. I have not spoke with him since Sept of 2012. If you ask him to talk to you via phone I guarantee excuses one after the other will come up on why he cannot not even though he may make a promise that he will soon. You will never speak to him.
Good luck and be safe.

P.s. I feel very sorry for the people who have been scammed by him. I feel sorry for the real man in these pictures and any U.S. military soldiers. They do not deserve this. I hope the authorities have warned the actual man in these pictures of the abuse that is going on.

I too was taken by supprise to see that this man who tried to take avantage of me, he had asked me accasionally also for money, well, I thank God that that the truth has been revealed, personally, how can somebody get a hold of somebodys personal photos? I think this is the man himself, but when he writes to me, he goes by another name, last name is still Moose, well goes to show, you cant even trust soldiers from your own county can you!!!

Well all I have to say is that this same man also has asked me for money sometimes, but I seem to think that this man is a Sgt USA, and I think they are his photo, because how could somebody get into another soldier files who highly secret man who on a mission for what they do for their job, I honestly think this is the man himself, Mr Moose, and he's trying to cover up for himself, and he know how to sweet talk to woman, especially the venerable and woman who is looking for love, I think working in the army seems to show that this man really has lost and know how other people really feels, as far as I feel, I still think it is the Sgt Moose himself, and is trying to cover up
