Name: Ian Jones
Other Comments: I've been romance scammed by Ian Jones. And this is one of the photos he is using to bait his victims. He is active on different dating sites around the world. He introduces himself with a dual citizenship depending on his victim’s location, mostly to justify his accent. He usurps the identity of an american, called Ian F. Jones, living in Maine, USA, at 250 Forside Road, Falmouth, and this is a real address. He makes you believe that he is in the US Army and will be retiring in a few weeks and that he will be moving in your country in a house/condo he already owns. He is very affectuous, caring and very soon, he sends lots of 'love' letters, calls a couple times a day, from a US phone number (207) 809-8439. He then wants to chat on MSN, Skype, but you can't see him on the web cam. You may see a very fuzzy static image appearing on the web cam for a couple seconds, just to make you believe he is 'for real'. He soon talks you into having intimate encounters on the webcam, but he is doing it very respectfully, waiting for the idea to come from you. A couple weeks later, once you are in love with his extremely gentle and elegant manners, once you are addicted to his many calls and emails, he tells you that he needs to make a last business trip before he retires and comes to start a new life with you, and that he will fly directly to your country on his way back. He actually flies to Ghana, South Africa, and calls you on arrival at his hotel, and believe me, he calculates perfectly the time difference and the flight duration to make sure you do not have a doubt. He starts telling you that he has problems with his job, mildly, just to let you know, and then, he calls you to request your help, asking to send 3000$ by Western Union that he will reimburse once he gets to your country, which shall be sooner if you send the money now.
At that moment, I realized he was a scammer and I told him. He became extremely verbally violent and threatening. A couple minutes later, I received an email containing very kinky snap shots he took from the webcam while I trusted him enough to have intimate chats. It came with the threat of sending those pictures to all my contacts.
At that point, my employer was kind enough to block his IP address from our server and reinforced our email security. I did change my email address and never answered to his phone call again. BEWARE OF THAT SICK PERSON AND DO NOT GET INTO HIS GAME.
I too was scammed by this man in much the same way and I beleived him. I was stupid enough to send some money and his next trick is to tell you he can get to france. He will then call from ffrance and tell you he cannot get the money from his bank and needs 500 to get home. be warnewd he is very convincing and i fell for it twice. he also get an associate involved by yhte name of frank in ghana so beware. He claims to be norwegian as well, his wife died in 9/11 and his son was murdered earlier this year. He told me he sold medical equipment.
I would also like to say..
am considered an honest, open and friendly guy who has a sense of humor with a splash of sarcasm mixed in. My philosophy is that you need to try things before you can decide if they are for you or not, so I like to be open to new experiences. I am comfortable with the thrill of a rollar coaster but am just as happy at home watching a good movie. I am looking for that special lady who can not only match me but also complement my personality. I want to find a lady who will not only be my friend, but will want to share his life with me too..the good and the bad. I've had my share of and I'd like to find a lady who is open enough to understand and forgive and know, like I do, that life is a daring adventure and not always perfect and that you only learn by your mistakes. Honestly I am tired of game-players with their fancy words and actions. This fair damsel has searched in many kingdoms..but has yet to find that one special knight who will keep him happy. Perhaps this is the place..perhaps it might be you?
