Question: My realtor sent me a listing of houses that are available for sale and the table contains 2 columns named ADOM and CDOM. What does ADOM and CDOM mean?Answer: ADOM = Active Days on MarketCDOM = Cumulative Days on Market A house may have been on the market at a certain price and nobody was interested. After 30 days, the seller (or landlord) takes it off the market and re-lists it next day for a lower price (rate). After 10 days, the ADOM would say '10 days on market', but CDOM would say '40 cumulative days on market'. Some realtors choose not to display these numbers to buyer clients because it gives the buyer an idea of how desperate the seller may be.
