Yes, she contacted me on German friendscout and writes in broken German. She/he also wrote she's from Volzhsk, but didn't give me a postal code. Asked for 900 euros for visa and flight. IP-adress is mari-el, I think. If I only knew who the girl on the photos is....

Exactly the same with me, mate! German friendscout et al. But she hasn't asked for money yet, but her mails are turning in the 'right' direction.

Actually I haven't turned down her request. I just wrote that I had sent her the money (by Western Union, which she suggested of course), what I actually would have done. But then I saw your comments, and you saved me a lot of money, man...
I wrote that I would only give her the key numbers by phone, and she answered that she hasn't got a phone. So let's see what happens next ...

She contacted me also on german friendscout an writes in broken german. She also wrote she's come from Volzshk, bud she did me postal code (450233). She asked for 759 euros for visa and flight, the ip-adress is 81.19.66.30 or message-id is 1675145384.20060630215359@rambler.ru.

The correct postal code for Volzhsk (Mari El) is 425000.
Russian Postal codes start:
450, 452, 453 —Bashkortostan Republic
424,425—Mari El

There must be another IP-address, yours is the Rambler.ru IP-address. Look further down the header, must be something starting with 195 or 192 or 217!

By the way, I've just received a new mail by her. She's telling me she has to visit her sister in Cheboksary. Name of sister: Lena. Name of sister's daughter: Oksana. Have you heard those names before? Do they ring a bell?
