WAN WAN--- Best wishes back to you from my Lady of Bahia
After about two emails she was in Love with me! We never once talked about sex though! All of her pictures are decent.....she has a tattoo around her belly button. She claims to live in Ghana....and her mother lives in Accra. Her daughter also lives in Accra with her mother. She told me she was born in Arkansas but her Ghanaian passport said she was born in Ghana. She also said her father was American and she lived in the states up until 18 months ago.....but her English is terrible. She dresses like a star and yet she works in a grocery store....which she is allowed to write lengthy emails from her work place. She's never asked me for money yet! She said she took recent photo's but she's wearing a wedding ring and she claims to be divorced for four years. She has sent me several photo's of her daughter....it isn't any question it's her daughter. She claims to be a Christian and answered a lot of my questions about the Bible correctly. She has slowly slowed down her writing to me and little MSN now.....she may be aware I'm onto her or I'm not offering her help. Is it possible she's telling the truth and really wants to get out of Ghana to have a good life? I will wait a few more days before I post her picture. Her tattoo is in the shape of a heart!
Anything is possible, but some of the warnings signs are there, including inconsistencies in what you have been told. Check the links I provided above for pictures and email address. Search her email address on this site, and Google it to see if it shows up on any other scam-busting sites. Check her pictures with Picture Search here and at tineye.com.
Follow the links to common warning signs that our friendly linkmaster is sure to post here soon, if I'm not being too presumptuous.

Yesterday I was winked on Match by a girl from Dunedin, New Zealand. I winked back and we agreed to email on our personal yahoos. Suddenly her profile ws withdrawn and she now comes from Ghana. She fell in love with me within a day and gave me her Ghanaian phone no.
Definitely lining me up for something and she intends to come from ghana to new Zealand to live with me.

She is very very pretty claming to be from Australian father( now dead) and Ghanaian mother.
3) Some scammers expect victims to take the initiative and surrender their wallets. Remember, scammers have nothing to do with religion, morals, etc. If you say you are a communist, he will claim to be more communist than Mao Zedong and Che Guevara combined ! ! He is only after one thing, and it is NOT your heart!

I intend to break off our 4 hours old engagement.
If you're engaged to Raven Riley, go for it. Or tell her I'm available.
Hope I didn't disappoint Scambay
Not so far.

The Boris scam score sheet applies equally well to the lads. Most differences between them are related to Boris' superior level of sophistication:
Boris is adept at hiding or faking IP addresses. My Borisinas seem to move around a lot - one was even in Dirk's neighbourhood last week before moving on to the U.S. The lads do not seem to know how to do this, and each scammer's IP tends to stay in a relatively limited geographical area within the same country. It is believed that the lads generally rely on internet cafes, while Boris is well equipped.
Boris makes extensive use of The Bat! and similar email clients, and his replies are generally automated until after the money letter. The lads are more likely to be using web-based email, and reply with copy and paste form letters. They are reading your replies, just not paying much attention in the beginning.
As a result of the capabilities of the different email platforms used, Boris' letters tend to have 'your' name scattered throughout to make them look personal. Given the work involved in doing this manually, the lads tend to mention 'your' name only near the beginning and end of the form letters.
One basic non-technological difference is the lads tenuous grasp on credulity. Boris relies on a man's belief that an incredibly beautiful woman has fallen in love with his literary charm and wants to uproot her life to be with him. Boris finds many men willing to believe this.
Many lads, even when they use dating sites to initiate contact, seem to feel that a beautiful girl is not enough, and still feel the need to sweeten the pot by throwing in an unlikely inheritance and questionable circumstances. Why they still do this is not quite clear, but it does reduce their potential victim pool and make them more fun to bait. The lad that believes that someone will believe his orphan's story about $5.3 million in a trunk box will himself believe that some absurdly wealthy matron wants to adopt his orphan: http://breakfastwit..-box.html
One other thing to note, as some real Ghanaians and other Africans have pointed out here, west African women are not light-skinned like African-American and Caribbean women. They are very dark-skinned, and tend to have short hair. If the pictures you are getting look like American or Caribbean black girls, they probably are.
