I concur with this fellow from the USA. This female or person has tried to move upon me and entice me into a false sense of security with immediate claims I am her man and love is in the air.

==Method used:==
The method she used was to enter into Date.ca (dating site), pick a profile, and then contact that person in the dating site. Once contacted, she encourages the man to leave the dating site and contact her on 'Yahoo Messenger'. Once there she immediately indicate her deep interest in you, and even with the features of Yahoo Messenger, put 'falling hearts' as a messenger window background to entice you into a false sense of realism that you have a hot connection. Much like a prostitute that whispers fantasies to get you to buy the services. Actually, these scammers are very much the same as prostitutes selling themselves for money.

Curious thing about her entrance into a dating site, at least with Date.ca. Normally a person needs to purchase a full membership to use the internal messenger and mail system, but claims that she has only a free trial membership, which disallows the use of the internal messenger and mail. Unless she uses a stolen credit card, to purchase a membership at around $30 Canadian or same for US, can be an expensive venture since they must try many men before they have a success. Plus these false profiles never last, and are usually removed by the Date site within a few days. I suspect for some Date sites they have succeeded to hack into their protocols and gain a full membership access without having to pay. Thus if you find that such a woman contacts you in a dating site and immediately asks to go to Yahoo Messenger (or the others of the like), yet their profile shows as a trial or removed, they hacked into the dating site protocols to override the security features. I give his info as this shows illegitimate actions that can signal a scammer is at hand.

Once you and her are on Yahoo Messenger, she tries to move the interaction, over a few meetings by messenger, to become more personal. She will not answer straightforward questions, as 'Have you done this with other men?'.

The Yahoo Messenger she uses is an older version, as a Newer version Messenger will let you know she uses an older one if you try to use some features in the newer Yahoo Messenger that the older one does not have.

This has given rise to the suspicion that an older version can gain access to your computer. This has been a past problem with Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo claims they fixed the security issue with the newer download versions.

Now here is a slip from this scammer. While in the dating site, she posted a profile and placed this picture onto it, just after she contacted me and asked for a meet on Yahoo Messenger. Within minutes she removed the picture. It was good timing that I checked her profile to get this picture, but I find it very curious that the picture she mistakenly posted showed so quickly when there is a usually 48 hour wait for approval. That also indicates she has hacked into the dating site to over ride the protocols. She was not happy that I showed her the picture she mistakenly posted. Here is that pic she posted and removed.

It seems to be a Ghanaian male engaged in this crap. He must be noosed.
