I am presently corresponding with a scammer. No doubt, there is a group of clever men somewhere on the planet who pay pretty women for these photos, and use them to prey on the witless and gullible men they take us to be. Those of you who have been contacted by these guys might want to read 'The Bretheren' by John Grisham. It describes in lurid detail the workings of such nefarious men in a fictional account. Thanks to your website, I now know that the Bretheren is up and running. What does everyone think of this idea. A new sport, with an ulterior motive. Write to these people. Feign interest. Act the part. Keep it going as long as possible. Ask just enough questions to persuade them we are not too naive, but allow ourselves to appear interested and convinced of their sincerity. Create a new modus...lets call it Scam Busting. If enough of us do this, they will have to spend increasing amounts of time at their keyboards, hire more staff, invest more effort...for diminishing returns. If we are good at this, we might gradually turn the tide. The cost to them in terms of time and manpower will increase progressively. After 10 or 15 emails, we can send them a special logo, with our Scam Buster's badge saying, 'Hi. I'm a member of Scam Busters, Int'l, and your are so busted. Dosvi Danya, sucker.' I don't know if this practice carries any risks, for example, that they could hack into our computers? Anyone have any thoughts on this. For now, Imma keep going for a little bit, collect some more pictures and letters, and then post them. If the guys doing this are really really clever, they will be reading our site, and try and figure out who I am. Then, the emails will stop. Let's see how it goes. Of course, I could be any one of thousands of men, all over the planet. So, to be really sure, I guess they better stop writing to everyone :) Thanks guys for helping me avoid feeling foolish. Let's call me John G. for now.
