MQ from Deutscheland, yes, scammers steal pictures of innocent persons. They also steal pictures of car wrecks. Around Christmas time, a scammer had an 'accident in Irkutsk, Siberia.' Curious about the steering wheel, and a scorching sun, I sent it to my friend (now a dinkum Aussie), and voila! 'G'day mate' he replied, 'it's the picture of an accident in the outbacks of Australia, a day or two earlier!'. When was the last time that Siberia experienced around Christmas, 40 degree Celsius? (Maybe at the time of Pangea?)

Oh well, what else can a scammer steal? Elena Solodovnikova is an artist, who performed at Cirque de Soleil. A scammer, stole that whole name, possibly also pictures of an innocent girl, and tried scamming me from Perm, Russia (possibly the city too, part of the scam constuction?)

If you google for the excat phrase of the name this scammer used, there's far more information, than any that I can add.

I met this scammer in friendfinder, claiming to be from Kansas, and claiming to be from Londonderry in a British dating site I don't remember. Are scammers omnipresent? Maybe not in Antarctic, Mount Everest? On a different thread, the presence of Russian mafia is South Africa is confirmed. It's well known that they are engaged in fire-arms smuggling from U.S. to Canada. Scamming, and sending support letters in favour of scammers could well be their side business activity!

Auf Wiedersehen!

Well, I read your comment and for me it sounds supposable dating scamming might be a side business of organized crime. Anyway I guess it is a bit too tolerated crime. So I think different 'players' will share the success. Russia might be still very corrupt.

I more then one time was asked for kind of money-transfers by well known scammer profiles (the pics and style of writing presented me they were documented scammers- with different profile of scamming aims). I wondered about how this scam migth work. (Nigeria scam?- do not think so).

I looked up the name and right found a well known dance pedagogue in german web- entries.
And I found the thread about a scam were they 'made' enormous sums of money.

Maybe the dating scamming is still an underestimated crime.
Maybe because of just a few people fall on these scam constructions it is underestimated by the police?

I can t believe the state prosecution is allways watching beside, where for example allways falsifikations of passports and state documents (I know- it is like virtual document, becase they don t exist really) are offered in web. Isn t just this a crime the prosecution is keen on? What I read in russia there is not any obligation of secrecy in web! Isn t it very easy to collect material against them?

The fact they threat people for life or physical condition ( look up in the other thread under the pic) should show us, there is more behind then funny students who found a comfortable way for making 'some money'

Where so much money is involved the heavy or organized crime for sure is concerned.

After a couple of days she started asking for money. Which geniune lady at 30 years unmarried will ask for money after just a couple of days? she is a scam. she suggested it. @ anonymous 2008-12-14, 05:24:34 Regarding 'do you think the pics are stolen and use???'

Scammers are predominantly MEN regardless whose photos they send.

Scammers rarely use their own photo's. In case you or someone you know comes across them in real life.

The one in the photo's you have is probably also a victim of the scam!
