Other Comments:
i actually flew to saratov in june, and met nataliya, and her parents, which makes this a bit unusual from the 'average bear'. i had know her, not from a date site, but a chat site.
she accepted my proposal, as well as a year's rent, and other sundry expenses, and i stayed with her , where i paid rent. we went to st. petersburg, where she had never been, and when i left, having never done anything like this before, it struck me that ahving been experianced, would have tacked on more time at the end of the trip, for i felt that everyday that passed was a little better than the one before.
ha, not so fast. she started becoming distant,[in phone calls, and texts], i had told her it would be good to save emails in a file for the 'k-1' visa, and emails virtually stopped. uummm, i was there for 3weeks in june, returning just before the 7/4 holiday.
a week into june, she started the endearing habit of hanging up during calls, just for the hell of it.
we had talked about meeting before winter, in one of the countries she's allowed to go to, with a tour group. we settled on sharm el sheikh, egypt. after investigating the tour, she gave me a price that was almost double what she'd estimated. i told her, that if the rate depended on two airfares, that i could fly into moscow, and transfer flights without a visa, as that is permited, to connect. she said no, and so, i got the warm pleasure of flying into heathrow, 2 days after the uncovering of the 'mix a bomb in the bathroom' plot, in august. a pell mell juant 'cross town to gatwick, the two most affected airports.
anyway, the 4rth day of an 8day 7 night trip, after having been warm for nearly 3 days, and suddenly pretty damn contrary on the last, announced that her feelings had changed, and she had to move in with her friend[whom she had met on the plane, yeah,], a girl that nataliya had begun spending the days with, sunbathing.
and, unbelievable to me, just sunbathe. i offered to rent a damn jeep, to drive over to giza in, so they could sunbathe, and take her stinkin' friend with us. no, they just wanted to sit by the pool. unbelievable. 5 hrs from 6000 year old sights of wonder, once in a lifetime opportunity.
i am now convinced, that the reason the fare nearly doubled, was because mary [the friend] was there on my dime, and that it was set up and carried out purposely, to cause as much pain as possible, and then she relied on the unbelievable lack of co-operation from any russian entity, ie; the tour agency in saratov, sent me a voucher that i printed out for when i arrived[i got there a day b/4 nataliya], but could not get a receipt form him. in fact, he never emailed any response to my daily requests for a statement. i went to the parent company, tes in moscow, and only ever got a recording i couldn't understand. i sent them emails with the voucher number, and asked for statements and never got a response.
it took scamming, or rather here, golddigging, to a different level. after i returned, i pieced together a few other occurrences, and that's what it was, an elongated scam, fearlessly giving over any info, etc, secure in the knowledge, that there was not much i could do about. in other words, screw you over buddy, and hop on back to russia, where you can't do nothin' about it.
also, folks truley in love, or with genuine affection, would not pull such a dastardly act. i've tried a detective agency, they were useless. so much so, if i ever get back to saratov, i'd like to run into the field agent, literally, after i beat him half to death, he was that deliberate of an incompetent.
