I have received the same 3 emails from our person as the other folks that have posted on this site. However she is listing her birthday as April 11th and says her name is Elena Yanchurova.

She (they) have asked for Full name and telephone number ...like a fool I sent it. Thanks to this site I have found that asking for money was next...shame...what a fantasy it was starting to be.

same old lines same old info...thanks again for the info...good job folks

points to recognize : there is no way to obtain a visa to leave Russia in one week. The person has to send $100.00 and submit an application by pony express to the embessy and then the embessy will notify the applicant within 10 to 21 days by pony express with an appointment time and day and this is the only way to obtain a visa to leave Russia period.

Learn the typical Russian dating scam signs:

1. girl's too young (or too cute to be true)
2. scammer contacts you first
3. most of the pics are old and a bit faded (or numbered)
4. very long rambling form letters with strange format
5. writes in English everyday (how does she have time if she's working?...plus most
Russians can't speak a word of English)
6. conveniently doesn't have kids
7. doesn't answer direct questions (sometimes factual mistakes in the letter)
8. falls in love with you by email (quickly or slowly) and wants to visit you first. Real
Russian girls would expect you to come to Russia first, of course. Makes spurious
excuses for you not coming to visit her (too dangerous, blablabla).
9. wants money for a 'visa' and maybe tickets, even though she needs a personal letter
of invitation from you, a copy of your passport, a proof of your residence in your
home country, a completed sponsor's application form (also from you). Without these
documents and the ones she needs to fill in, she won't get a Schengen visa to visit
you.
10. uses a proxy server, SOCKS-server or GPRS Internet to hide his/her location (if you've learned how to check an IP) or the BAT! or other spamming software to send his/her mails.

If some or most of these criteria fit, it's 100% scam.

In that case, you can send him/her the Eddie standardized fuck-you-scam-monkey payoff email. Don't use the cyrillic version if you're using a free mail account, eg hotmail because these aren't compatible with cyrillic. English translation included free of charge.

Cyrillic version:

Oto'idi, a to jebnu, хохол. Idi na khuy!

Transscribed version:
Privet mudozvon!
Pozhalujsta, ne oskorbl'ajte moj intellekt. Ty ne zhivete v (name of city), ty zhivete v Yoshktar Ola, prestupnyj gorod v Rossii. Ty posylayete mne ukradennyye fotografii i pis'ma kopii khu'in'a. Skoro, ty budete prosit' den'gi poluchit' vizu (nevozmozhnyj poluchit' bez pis'mennogo priglasheniya ot men'a i biletov takzhe.)

Poetomu, ya sekonoml'u tas nekotoroye vrem'a. Pojdite ots'uda, chtoby iskat' chestnuyu rabotu, ty neschastnyj zhulik. Ya ne imeyu interes dl'a vashego skamerstvo. Oto'idi, a to jebnu, khokhol. Idi na khuy!

English version:
Hello bullshitter,
Please do not insult my intelligence. You don't live in (name of city), you live in Yoshktar Ola, a criminal city in Russia. You send me stolen photos and shit-quality copy letters. Soon, you'll request money to obtain a visa (impossible to obtain without a letter of invitation from me and tickets as well.)

Therefore, I will save you some time. Go from here to seek an honest job, you miserable swindler. I'm not interested in your scam business. Get lost or I'll kick your ass, you greedy moron. Fuck you!

good luck!

Hey if you guys want to have some fun with this scam shit, man just use the current email that is posted here on them and send them a letter , they don't even fucking know who they are sending one back to , and all you have to do is play it out and when you think that they have it figured out send the last one telling them that they are going to get their wish , they are going to get an all expense paid trip to the US or wherever to stand trial for crimes against Americans or where ever your from. If they start getting a 100 or so a day of these along with the ones they are actually trying to scam it will keep them all fucked up . It's important though to keep current emails. I've been doing this and I laugh my ass off at them dumb asses thinking they are going to get something when I know better. Scam the scammer.

I am so glad I came across this site. This woman just tried to scam me. I was at www.singlesnet.com, and I viewed a profile of a woman who had black hair, and green eyes from MO. Her site name was Mistyillusion. I sent her a 'flirt' and a woman under the screen name savely30 @yahoo.com replyed. She said her friend was letting her use her account to find someone. Then, all future e-mails were from savely7@yahoo.com. She first said her name was Anna Malygina. Then she said the correct translation was Anna Malgina. She said she was 27. I started saving every e-mail because from the start, something didn't seem right. I would like to post these e-mails later for everyone to view, and pictures. I have the ones here, and more. How cruel could a person be to manipulate another persons feelings?

Does everybody still think it's not this girl, I think it is along with a few associates. That was the same way she contacted me was on singlesnet through a friends profile in N.J.. When you add it up , if they can make $2000.00 a month scamming that is how they can wear that gold on their arms and around their neck. Compare the exchange rate of dollars for roubles. They are living a HELL of a lot better than we are.
