here is another letter from Svetlana.:
Dear! It was at the embassy today and gave them my passport to fill all documents,
as well as to obtain a visa. I have been asked to bring and show them a flight ticket.
Once I show this to them, they will issue me with a visa. After that
I went to Western Union and tried to withdraw your money transfer which you sent to me,
but people at Western Union office refused to give it due to the fact that
I must show them my passport. When I was told about this system before,
I was never told that I must have my passport with me. According to the rules Western Union has,
all transfers of up to 1,000 dollars can be picked up without showing them passport.
Unfortunately this rule does not cover Russian Federation.
My passport is at the embassy a few days and I will not be able to get it to show to Western Union people.
Is it possible for you to change the name of the receiver (of the transfer) to the name of
the manager of my travel agency ( Sergey Shlyandin ), thus, they will receive the money and immediately book me a ticket on
the plane which I will show at the embassy. I will be very grateful for that. I know that
I bring you a lot of troubles. All these problems have haunted me in the past few days are almost over.
Please change the name of the recipient to Svetlana Howralewa and them email me right away so we do not waste
anymore time. You can not imagine how tired I am. The only thing that keep my head up for the last
days is thought about our meeting in a few days. I can’t wait for this day. I am so excited!!!
My kisses are going your way!! XOXOXOXOX Hope you like them. Soon I’ll be able to kiss you in real life.
I’d like to taste your lips and feel the warmth of your breathe and feel your gentle touch. My arm in your arm,
all these things make me crazy. I am going to finish my letter for now and will be expecting
to hear from you as soon as possible.
the manager of my travel agency:
WOW i have her hooked. she thinks that i sent money but i lied to her LOL.should i report her to the police??? i dont know what to do now.... can someone please help me :)

Report 'her' to what police? The Russian's? You'd get better result's peein into the wind!LOL I hope you had TALL boot's on when you read that letter!!! You really got as much as you're going to outa that one. After they figure out that there will be NO MONEY they'll be PISSED.So just be careful from here on out and DO NOT open any suspicious mail,
some of the vlads will send viruses and worm's or other malware if you piss em off!

Lovely girls though.
I too am very wary about being scammed. Whether or not I am being scammed remains to be seen. With any luck the answer is No. I have never sent anything to the girl I am 'involved' with and after 2 years, IF she is a scammer, surely she would have given up by now. In fact, surely she would have given up after a few weeks. Who knows? I guess time will tell. She has, however, agreed for me to make all the arrangements and pay for everything on my side at her embassy. Well, I'll let you know how it pans out. (silly me)
anonymous from United States
What a shame. I really wonder how many scams she successfully pulls off. Well, I got all the same stuff just as you guys did. Exact same emails and everything. Just different locations. I got her last one this morning asking for money and thats when I got real suspicious. It's one thing to pick you up from the airport but sending $675 to a total stranger...shhhh. Well after seeing this site....thank you guys. Just adding my last response to her money request.
I'm not sure how to start. I was so excited to wake up this morning and find another e-mail from you. I have added a Russian Alphabet site to my favorites and even installed my computer with the Russian Language pack to help you. It is amazing, all the things you could do here. I was going to buy you a membership at the gym with me and show you all the other great things that life has to offer here in the US. Money is not an object when it comes to my woman. A life of love and wealth is priceless if you ask me. The U.S. Dollar exchange to Russian Rouble is 1 to 25.86 right now. That is a very good exchange. When you convert $675 USD to Roubles you get 17,456 RUB. That's a lot of money Svetlana. I wonder....out of all the guys that you write to,...how many do you successfully scam? Really, if you average ONLY 3 a year you make between what some people that have Associates and Bachelors Degrees make. I think I may need to consider a career change. If you have a good year and get 4 then you've made almost 70,000 RUB. I'm sure that this will offer a very comfortable lifestyle in Russia.
Just remember...there is no guarantee of money in your line of work. Before you know it your looks will fade and the reputation of your name and your letters already precede you. All I had to do was drop your name in a Google search and there were pages of information on you and some of your scamming comrades. If mere amateurs can find you out, this only proves you are not smart enough to cover your tracks and be more wise in your tactics. Yes, you fooled me as well as many other men at first. Know this, there a lot of ignorant desperate men but we are not all ignorant and desperate.
While I am here living in The Land of the Free USA working and getting paid well, my employer pays 100% for my school up-front(books included). I am 28, have a rental house, a new car(07' Camry SE), membership at a resort, a nice apartment with very nice things that I own with no payments. When I have my Bachelors Degree in Information Technology I will owe nothing on my school and will double my salary. Every other Thursday at midnight I know there is a check deposited into my account.
Svetlana, what do you have? Do you have this kind of security and dependability in your life?
p.s. you're cute but not that cute. America still has the best looking women in the world...you just had the exotic kink factor working for you that's all. ;-)

Hi (my name)!!
At me a problem. I cannot take away money....To me have told that money is not present.
For me have asked a copy of the document on reception of money.
To me have told that with this document it will be possible to take away money (in system there can be a mistake).
The copy of this document is necessary to me.
my dearest Svetlana, hello.
how are you keeping over there?
i trust that you are well.
i am sorry for not replying immediately but when toy told me that you did not receive the money (for the second time), i went to Western Union to inquire as to what happened. they told me that the money ($500.00 CND) was picked up! i was surprised and shocked!!! they called the police and i told them that i was sending you money for school supplies. so now they are investigating who took my(your) money. i don't like the police. i miss you so much!!!
however, if you can come here i can give you some money to live on.
please come as soon as possible!!!

LOL Toronto!...nice one. I had a laugh reading your posts. just make sure there are no russian mafiosi in eastern canada ;)
About your scammer, it's probably one of 2-300 professionals in the scam triangle between Yosktar Ola and Kazan (mostly Yoshktar Ola). 90% are guys and they use a female accomplice to collect the loot. (in this case a male cos she wanted you to chage the name, can you believe it?) I've been to Russia twice myself and 2 Russian girls have been to stay with me in Stockholm, the second of which is waiting to hear if she can get residency in Sweden. Fingers crossed. IE there are lots of nice Russian girls out there who aren't scammers.
One scammer who wrote to me even blew his cover and replied to me a few times in his 'non-female persona'. Quite an eyeopener! (I'd written to him in Russian calling him as a scammer). I've posted his translated replies on some of the other threads. If you want a laugh, try writing to your scammer in Russian, and see what happens. Use imtranslator.net, it's the best one (and much better than they use). Keep it simple and use the back translator to make sure it makes sense (unless you understand cyrillic). If you're using a free mail provider like hotmail or gmail, you'll have to transliterate as well because they're not compatible with cyrillic. It's quite easy though, just click the transliteration box on the translator.

these bitches need to be caught. I have had the same thing happen to me recently. Thankfully some others posted it and I have the same exact pictures. Some of the pictures they post are different, so it will be fun to send one back to her that she has not yet sent me, saying I found it on the internet.
What can we do to catch these bitches (or probably really dudes) and de-nut them?
anonymous from United States
Yulia Litwinowa has been in contact with me. Broke in through a dating site and started telling me we were soul mates and she was flying here to meet me. Pretty girl, but here English is too good to be from a small Russian town.
anon US..'these bitches need to be caught'...they're nearly all guys, fer f*** sake. Most of the women in the pics don't even know their identities have been stolen. Here's the first of 4 mails I got from a male scammer posing as 'Anna Ivanova'. When I wrote to him in Russian calling him for being a scammer, this is the reply I got (also translated from Russian):
Från: 'Anna' <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Ämne: Re: Прочитайте это письмо
Datum: 05 July 2006 17:40
ME: Greetings 'Anna'! Please do not offend my intelligence.
ME: You do not read my letters. You ignore my questions. I write to you in Russian, but you do not see, because you do not read mine letters.
Scammer: Yes I see that you write in Russian, but I correspond with many such as you. I cannot write to everyone individually.
ME: You send me copied letters.
Scammer: Certainly. Then you are better than others?
ME: You write to me using server by proxy from the USA....Typical dodge for the Internet-scammer. If you are frank, why do you hide your location?
Scammer: I use a SOCKS-server. Usually I use GPRS Internet and you all cannot equally learn where I am. You can see only IP of the operator of cellular communication.
ME: Your photos are very beautiful, but you are not an actual girl. Probably, you are man called Boris.
Scammer: You are right, but not Boris certainly.
ME: You are a professional criminal who deceives money from lonely men who only search for the partner. Why you do it? You are too foolish to work? Or too lazy?
Scammer: Here only it is not necessary to speak about nonsense. You are a fool if you want to find a wife in the Internet. It is not real. The average salary in my city is 150 dollars in a month. The choice is simple - either poverty or larceny. Now I earn 5000 dollars. Our validity does not leave a choice. You can though choke in beautiful words about honesty and nobleness but when would it be desirable TO GUZZLE morals? It leaves only the second plan. I very much doubt, that you are capable to understand it.
ME: The scammer should be cleverer than its victim. But you are too stupid to be successful. If I could find you, I would kick your end face. *(didn’t know the Russian word for ass, but I do now)
- Do not reproach me in your dullness. I correspond with a whole division of sexually perverted muzhiks and everyone is a fool. And I am quite successful in the business. Be pleased, that we shall not meet, differently I would will thrust your leg into your задницу or end face, as you call it :)
ME: Try to behave nobly and to not deceive money.
- Necessarily, sometime. Can be in a following life.
