I was contacted by this person:
http://profile.myspace.com/188822575
Several attempts to ask simple questions (what do you like to do, what city are you in) about this person resulted in NO answers but kept directing me to the email included at the end as the best way to continue our dialogue.

this is the initial message sent through myspace email:

Hey!
How your mood? Personally at me fine mood and I have decided to share it with whom. I saw yours profile and have decided to write to you. I do not know why, but it seems to me, you the interesting person and me will be pleasant to communicate with you. By the way, I have overlooked to be presented. My name is Natalya. Now I do not have man and I have decided, that it is necessary to arrange the private life. I do not know, you will answer me whether or not. But I shall hope, that tomorrow when I shall come for work I shall see your letter. I shall look forward. Kind to you of day.
Please, write to me on my address. Konfetka788@mail.ru

second email:
Hello, it again I Natalya. I was very glad to see that you have noticed my modest message in the box, and that you have answered me. It has made me very happy. And by the way you knew that to girls very much to like when it answer them with love and reciprocity, here so you have made to me very pleasantly that that have answered me. I would like to learn you more close, and on it I give you the email konfetka788@mail.ru. I shall hope that you write to me, and we can continue our dialogue.

third and last from her or whoever it is obviously not willing to disclose even the most benign personal information:

I very much would like that you wrote to me on my address of e-mail, on it would be much easier to me to communicate with you. Natalya

You should use a different e-mail addy and get more info to post. It's easy to sign up for one,I use msn or hotmail. You don't get answer's because the letter's are templated and sent with a mass-mailer like THEBAT! etc. They are sent automatically in sequence of the letter's you send.

She is most likely not a scammer. I am quite sure, cause she contacted me too and after I picked up conversation via email, she got in dept with her personal life. I even talked about scammers which she commented on, obviously hurt that I thought she was one. I will report back, if anything proves differently.

Tell her, that you want to visit her! If she is genuine you have to do this anyway. If she does not want you to come: 100% scam!

exactly right Germany!!

anon denmark....the girl is using a translator (or form letters) 'Personally at me fine mood'....typical Russian free translating language. Scammers are always 'hurt' if you suggest they are scammers. Real girls are realistic, they know that there are lots of scammers about and they are more phlegmatic.

her photos...is this the only one? it's pretty faded and has that scam look about it.

whatever Denmark says, don't trust her. don't send any money so that she can 'come to you'. It's impossible, not in the US, not in Europe. In europe you have to sponsor her, send a letter of invitation, copy of your passport, sponsor's application form, proof of your residency in your home country....and she has to apply, AND have prepaid tickets. All of this she must leave at your country's embassy in Moscow. Only then will she get a visa. I know because I've done it twice.

I have that pic plus 3 other's,one with a small girl in it.Claims to be from Novocheboksarsk{?},uses THEBAT{V1.61} IP 217.107.237.63 which comes back to Volga-Telecom,MARI-EL !

I think that's enough to say...SCAM!

Her voice was soft and cool, her eyes were clear and bright

I too recieved more pictures incl. the one with her supposed to be daughter which she said died from decease and which ultimately broke her marriage. On the money, she told me she would only ever ask someone else for it if her life was at stake. For starters she just got fired from her job where she normally answers her email.

I'm stating to get convinced. All this kindness towards an unknown man is too unrealistic. I wonder if there are any decent russian women left in the world...

... and another wierd thing is, that the myspace profile she contacted me through was shut down shortly afterwards which is very unusual for ordinary people to do.
