variant

Mathematicians are actually interested in invariants of objects

moles, tattoos, body-piercings, permanent scars

It's elementary, Dr. W :-)

Invariant moles in a photoshopped world? - I doubt that. /P

Mathematicians feel justified in giving birth to an ''English'' word, invariant

More time photo editing = lost time scamming = The same photo cannot be used for Son of Scam sequel

Photographer, photoeditor not equal to photoseller not equal to scammer. There are examples here where old pix, used 1000 times, were not found by the pic search due to some photoshopping.

'Son of scam sequel' : no returns for that query.

There was a usage on a thread re: two time scammer I think.

Such a criminal qualifies as a serial predator

There was a suggestion to refer to this criminal as Son of Scam

The phrase was motivated by an actual serial predator called Son of Sam.

If you search Wikipedia or google for the exact phrase Son of Sam, you'll get an idea of these heinous creatures.

I typed in delphi query box, son of scam beween string enclosure quotes, had many hits.

I used photo editing in a broad sense although Adobe photoshopping seems the preferred choice for this. The purpose of escaping a picture search, can as well be achieved with cheap graphics software. In any case time has to lost working to escape photo search.

The delphi query box ignores quotation marks.

Anon US, you'd better try to switch to a more international code page if your interest is to keep a certain uniqueness in your statements. :-)

Arre kya baat hai OJAS?...no need to google define:variant for me, but I appreciate the gesture. You may be interested to know that the word is very common in Russian ;D...as well as in Swedish, and presumably in German...(hence my observation)

In everyday English we'd be more likely to use the more down-to-earth 'version' or 'variation' , ie your word is a technical variant and you were showing your technical slip.

Shubhkamnayain

LMAO!...Eddie,

I miss my fonts on this computer for sending retaliatory compliments!

I noticed often students learning English and Maths in English tend to learn the later rapidly, and use it to survive in the former.

OJAS :-D
