Glad I found this web site. This Jessica Michael says she lives in Iowa City, Iowa and was on the True.com site. Before that I think she was on Match.com site in December.

I received the exact same letters from Scott Brown, word for word. I have learned my lesson...unless I know the person personally I am not talking to them.
It cost me dearly in both money and emotionsand left me feeling totally gullible. I guess what has helped was knowing that I wasn't the only person duped. Thanks for this helpful site and all the others like it that offer hope and encouragement to those that have been scammed or are being scammed.

Trace routing produces suburban-gw.ip.tiscali.net [77.67.66.114]

This confirmed my suspicions.

I remember Jessica Micheal.

This person emailed me in November 2007. Claimed to be living in Lebanon, PA.

We emailed for a few days then she told me that she paid $65,000 for antiques and didn't have enough money to come see me.

Yeah right, she is just a scammer.

He's still at it. Still using letter number 1, with a different email and dating site. Now claiming to be from the Air Force Academy and a native of Colorado Springs. Obviously, a single antiques dealer wouldn't be living there. Now using the email jess_wantluv28@yahoo.com. Here's the profile he's using:

About Me:
Where do I start? I was born and raised in the great state of Colorado, but have traveled around the US. I love the country livin but also like city life...I am an honest and faithful woman with a very tender heart. And also very open, soft spoken, sensitive, and sensitive to other's feelings, as well as very affectionate and fun loving. There is no
greater feeling to me than to make others happy and see a smile on their faces. I am kind of silly some times, as I do like to have fun and laugh! I enjoy the simple things in life. Just give me a big smile, a kiss and hug, and I'll be putty in your hands!! I am also a very, very romantic and passionate woman.I have no arrest record, no drug or drinking habits, I'm not presently on any medication, I've never been on Jerry Springer, I have no tattoo's (nothing against them) just not my thing. I'm also a full figured gal, so if you're looking for a perfect barbie figure, I'm sorry but I'm not her. My photos on here are recent photos. I don?t make promises about a perfect life. Life is an adventure with its share of hard times as well as good times. What I can promise is moments of sheer joy, times of laughing so hard it hurts, moments so touching and tender they bring a tear to your eye. I promise you love and laughter and kisses that take your breath away. I can?t promise you that we will never disagree or that you will never have moments of fear or pain. But I can promise you that you will never stand alone in those moments, I will stand beside you. We will share our joys as well as our sorrows.I am looking for a serious relationship, so if you are on here just to flirt around and have fun...PLEASE PASS ME BY.
Ideal Person:
I'm looking to meet a sweet man, I can love and grow old with hand in hand. Someone who enjoys travel and getting away for adventure. I'm looking for someone who enjoys life to its fullest; this includes the best and the worst of times, as they are all part of what makes life complete. Someone who I am able to laugh, cry and be silly with, that is, to be best of friends. Most of all I wish to experience true love with the person of my dreams, for love is the greatest gift of all. I just want what most people want...My perfect match would need to be easy going, interested in going new places and trying new things. A strong, loving, healthy relationship with some one I can love, and be loved in return. I'm looking for someone to share life with, who can treat me with respect, won't play head games, and who also appreciates a lady who can love and respect him in return I think a relationship is 50/50 and we have to give and take. Please have an up to date picture if you are interested. It's only fair as this is a dating site is it not?!! I wish every one the best of luck in their search!!

So, they are still using the antiques story.

This scammer is a nasty one. I let her send me a cashier's check, I kind of knew that it was a fake but I decided to let bank look at it and they confirmed my suspicions about it.

So, when they emailed me asking me if I cashed the check, I told them off and told them thanks for sending a fake check. They tried to say it was real. They also use the sad sob story by telling you that you don't trust them.

IMO, this scammer is a tricky one because after reading this thread, they are still up to their old tricks. I stopped responding to their messages.

I didn't write this in my previous message but I met this scammer thru true.com in November 2007.

Several months, this scammer sent me another message thru true.com using screen name of Jessytrue. There message had the name Jessica Michael & I deleted the message because they probably thought that they could try to con me again but it didn't work.

We good point made about.

This Jessica Michael character is very aggressive about money. Will keep emailing you and asking when you will send out the money.

When I dealt with them almost 2 years ago, they said they needed money for hotel over in Nigeria. I refused to send her money because I was in debt so she sent me a check which was fake.
