These pictures are being used by a scammer from Nigeria going by the name Lucie Fope using firstname.lastname@example.org email address. I exchanged several emails with her after she expressed interest in me after I sent her an ice breaker on Yahoo personals. In the first message she sent me she explained why she was closing her Yahoo personal account because the men who contacted her there were only interested in one-night stand and that was not what she was looking for and gave me her yahoo email for contact. After about four emails between us and being unable to find any trace of Lucie Fope on the web I was struck by the poetic nature of one of her messages paragraph which was followed by a mediocre paragraph that showed little education.
Fourth message( Life is so unpredictable )
Inside of me there is a place where my sweetest dreams reside, where my highest hopes are kept alive, where my deepest feelings are felt and where my favorite memories are safe and warm. I find that you're on my mind more often than any other thought. Sometimes I bring you there purposely just to make my day brighter. But more often, you surprise me and find your own ways into my thoughts. There are even times when I awaken, I realize that you've been a part of my dreams. Then during the day, when my imagination is free to run, it takes me into your arms and allows me to linger there knowing there's nothing I'd rather do. I know my thoughts are only reflecting the loving hopes of my heart because whenever they wander, they always take me to you.
I used to live on Fisherville Rd, Concord,i will really love to meet you face to face but i dont think that can be possible real soon because of the critical condition which my ex guy as put me through,i find it heard to believe someone i gave my heart, soul and body could let me down at the end of the love we both shared together,it really hurt my heart, maybe you are the one that can bring back joy in my heart and life.
Only the most special things in my world get to come inside my heart and stay. And now, I realize how deeply my life has been touched by you.
Doing a Google seach on the poetic paragraph landed me on the Nigerian scammer topic
She has not asked for money yet and she tried to explain why she can not meet me in person yet. Looking at the detailed headers of her messages they all come from Nigeria and not from Concord NH or anywhere in the USA. They have the following ip addresses:
which all originate from Nigeria
I can't believe I poured my heart out to this thing, I was so moved by her sense of motherhood and loyalty to her man that I told her that I think I loved her. Her pictures had a photographer quality to them and that should have raised a red flag. Also, her messages lacked the personal touch and seemed to be of a rather of an uneducated person mingled with some poetic love prose.
I hate to say it, but true: if it sounds too good to be true, then probably it is. I can't believe I fell for that!
