I got the same letter. I think this is the same scammer that has been after me for the last two years. Someone needs to go over there and kick Yuri in the ass. :)

As she (they) is sending these emails to a number of blokes, there's no chance that she really wants to have anything to do with you - she's only after money. Maybe, the mastermind behind it is her boyfriend (pimp). In the second email she asked me 'so what is your name?' - she knew my details very well in her first email, so there must be a lot of blokes she writes to.

I got these letters too. I thought they were funny. I knew it was a scam from the beginning. Whoever is writing these is a big time moron. Why would anyone send a thousand bucks based on that crap.

I let the emails keep coming for a while. I would ask questions like: 'If you have to go to an internet cafe to send emails, how do you get your pictures in the emails as attachments?' Of course those questions were never acknowledged.

On the bright side, I can post for you the last email I sent to her, just 10 minutes ago. It is in response to the weird one that kind of reminds me of a blank form for reservations. The one where she asks for $990. Enjoy!
