Doc,

Age as a Scamsign: The age of the 'girl' is not a scamsign as such. It's the victims age that should ring some bells. What is the agedifference? Why would a girl 20-25 years (or more) younger than you fall in love with you (and even want to create a family with you)? Are you that goodlooking, healthy and rich? Are you a famous moviestar? If not, forget it. These lovestories happen very rarely in real life. So these happy events occur rarely in the virtual life of Internet. There are younger men on datingsites who are a better match to (real and serious) girls that age. Forget the ego. Accept the facts of life.

Another age-scamsign. The girl claims to be 26 or 28, but the photos show a girl much younger. It's up to your own judgement to see that the girl writing the letter can't be the girl on the photo.

Thanks OJAS, That makes perfect sense to me. They want to appear as being pure or innocent, maybe more sexy so they talk broken english. You can't appear as being innocent and then start sending naked photos. I wish that my scammer did that to me because then I think I would have known it was a scam. To me 'Olga' was believeable person that was created by the scammer. 1) A little less attractive than a super model. 2) No naked or revealing photos. And yes I veiwed her as being 'the poor Russian girl' just as Boris wanted.

@Dirk, Yes alls I can say is if I only knew then what I know now,it would not have happened. Live and learn. In my case 'she' was 10 years difference and I know a few couples being that far apart. I questioned 'her' about our age difference, was something about young guys are not ready for serious relations and all the men are married here. Like a dumb ass I believe it. My scammer did not talk of creating a family probably because I told 'her' I had older child. Maybe?

Doc,

My answer was not meant to lecture you. You asked about the age-issue. This 'problem' comes back in every scamcontact I have. They never mind the difference.

You are right. I wouldn't be suspicious myself about a difference of ten years. But, in most scamcases the girls are much younger. That should ring a bell.

@ Dirk I know you and OJAS are not lecturing me. I was simply sharing what I was thinking and had experienced in my case. My hope is that others can learn and not make the same mistakes I have made. You can be assured that I am thankful for any answers to my questions. I will be a little more careful in the way I word my comments,I did not want you to think that. All your comments are much appreciated by me.

Alright I have another question or observation in my case. In all photos that were sent to me the girl does not smile showing her teeth. I have noticed this in other girls photos also. Can we learn anything from this observation? Is it traditional in some countries to not show teeth in a photo?

More on scam signs:

It helps to anayse both text and graphics, because that is ALL we have from an unknown, unseen individual. With pictures, it is important to focus not just at the girls anatomy, but to look for minute slip-ups scammers make. First DO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH A PHOTO http://dmwn.net/new..7_17.html

Some observations already posted on this site, by authors with some expertise in their areas:

1) A ''girl'' in Russia sends ''her'' picture with a palm tree in the background
2) Her profile says she was never married, no children ... A medical Doc posts the picture, one look at her hip shape, is all he needed to conclude she must have delivered child(ren)

OJAS, One of the most obvious scam sign with the pix in my case, that I foolishly overlooked was the pic of 'Olga' standing in water. I say this because 'she' told me that this pic was taken the day before, only it was January. Wow seems like its pretty warm in Jan. in Russia. lol

Very good observation DOC, thanks. When you right click on digital images, the properties will show the date / time stamp. Since I have no knowledge of digital photography, ask some knowledgeable folks, how to see the date stamp, it is probably a free software.

In the future if the wrong photo pops up instead of the one, You wanted
to post. simply hit the edit button in the lower right corner of, Your new
posting. Enter the picture title or number etc. enter the new code again
then post it the second time and usually the correct photo will then be there.
This happens frequently to me. i just enter it again and it works.
By the way it had to be one really warm day in January in Russia to stand
in water anywhere since most of January they are skating on most places
with water. LOL
Keep up the good work !

Kind Regards Agent 86 Maxwell Smart \\'^o^'//
