Name: Uche Adisa
Other Comments: Be very careful with this one ..... very sophisticated at developing a scam. She started off very genuine, very friendly, looking to build a friendship which quickly progressed to sweet, syrupy sentiment, with expressions of affection and tenderness ..... constructing an atmosphere of romance and love. 'This seems almost too good to be true', I told myself after the first two weeks, so I became very careful and cautious. Throughout the process, many of my questions would go unanswered or ignored ..... she was reluctant to send additional photos, and refused to visit an Internet cafe so that we could have a live video chat. She would not agree to let me send her a webcam so that we could see each other. Eventually Uche did provide me with some more photos and I continued with correspondence. After continuing in communication on Yahoo for six weeks, I decided to go to Benin to visit with Uche. Within a few days, a sudden medical emergency developed involving her mother ..... with an urgent need for money to pay the hospital bills. The pressing medical emergency came to a climax just 2 days before my scheduled flight to visit Uche ..... this is a classic gambit used by scam artists. I realize now that the lovely photos are most likely fake. Try a websearch on the name Uche Ireland also [ her Yahoo ID ] and you will find a link to Tony Oba - a known con artist from Nigeria. There is another link which offers information on the origin of the name Uche Ireland ..... this is an 'attack site' which will steal personal information and passwords. I received a warning not to access this site from my McAfee security software due to the danger. I did not fly to Benin, and I have ended the relationship.
I know this one. I was in contact with her around oktober 2008. Story sounds very familiair, she sended me the same pictures, worked with refugee children but did not get payed for that. Lived with her mom, her dad died years ago. She even called me once. Some of the things she told me just didn't make sense and made me watch my steps.
At the end she wanted to come and visit me, but she needed money for her visa, which she did not have (price she mentioned for the visa was 5x the actual price, and when i asked her to arrange it from here, i was not allowed). When i told her that i would not pay for the visa i never heard from her again.
Are you being scammed and this is your first visit here?
