Just to confirm that was me.
Was logged in, but comment didn't reflect that.
Logged out and back in, seems fine now.

PS. You may not be a newbie to Firefox, but it might interest you on finding a specific article in a page.

Thanks for the tip. Naturally, being something that could be useful, 'view selection source' does not exist in IE, but I did find this:
I cannot vouch for the registry edit, but the javascript link (bottom of the page) works.
Blessed are the tweakers, for they shall make MS crap work.

Getting back on topic, is this my 'Cynthia' from the previous page?
Any opinions?

Thanks Scambay. When I saw your link, I appreciate why Microsoft Browser is so intimidating!

@DOC I saw somewhere that you began trying Firefox. It has a useful Add-on, NOSCRIPT. I leave it on by default, preventing ALL remote servers running script on my client. I selectively allow a few, ONLY on a temporary basis, e.g permit Edit Button, some flash player, youtube, etc. But when finished, I revoke temporary permissions. You will also see delphi and many sites loading faster, when no script need to be run.

Thanks, I like this firefox...with the add-on

Scambay Terr,

Be careful posting a pic from a dating site if you are not sure it is used by scammers.

Could be a innocent real girl. Write to her.

A pleasure DOC.

<Ctrl> <Shift> H opens history, you can then right-click, copy / delete a link. Also you could sort links per your criterion.

<Ctrl> <Shift> <Del> gives you the choice of what all you want to rid

Tools Menu -> Options lets you fine tune

I have no doubt that the girl herself is innocent, as are most whose pictures are being used by scammers. That her picture is being used scammers is almost certain, as the profile is identified as a scammer:
I am almost certain that it is the same girl as my 'Cynthia'. I should point out that the scammer using her pictures came to me not through any site, but by random email to my business address.

My guess is that with the exception of perhaps a few innocents who stumbled there unknowingly, almost all profiles on datemefree are posted by scammers. (There are several using Raven Riley and Melissa Roy, and quite a few of certain familiar Russian blondes.) The site raises almost all the flags of a scammer site, and nothing in common with legitimate dating sites. I am currently receiving emails from a few 'girls' from that site, and when the baits are over, will likely start a new thread about this and other unreputable dating sites.

In any case, I suspect that the real 'Cynthia', whoever and wherever she is, would have no trouble getting a date without the need for dating sites. One of the pitfalls of really getting into character during a bait is that it actually bothered me that I will never know anything about the real girl. Or her twin.

Scambay Terr,

Sorry, about my comment. I messed up. I did not click your link to see that the profile on datemefree was blacklisted as a scammer. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

No worries. Being blacklisted on datemefree is almost superfluous, as almost all profiles seem to be posted by scammers. I get a lot of messages from whitelisted 'girls' telling me how handsome, interesting, etc. I am. My profile has no picture and only age and location. It is also interesting that blacklisted accounts remain active - can send messages, kisses, etc. It's a safe bet that whoever replies when they see the red flag are easy pickings.
Thanks for the interesting reads. And the tip about tineye - I never noticed the plugin and have been using it the old-fashioned way. Luddite that I am, I will find out if it works with IE6. Somebody has to.

Wonders never cease. Tineye plugin works with IE6. (Something has to.)
The only annoyance is the installer puts the javascript file in My Documents without asking. Moving it (I have a Program Files\Utilities folder for such things) requires some manual registry edits for the browser to find the script.

PM for you

Back on topic, still waiting for opinions on whether the datemefree picture is the same girl as my Cynthia.
