I would like to warn fellow males from a scam artist, located in Russia.

I had a profile posted on an American dating web site and a female from my area answered me. Her letter was a few lines long, in good English and she seemed honest and cute, so I replied. The letter said she had a read-only trial account and would not be able to receive messages, so she included a yahoo email address. She asked me to write to this yahoo email address. I did this and a few days later her trial account was gone, she explained that she deleted it because she found me. (that is what she answered, when I asked her about it)

I plan on using the 5 oldest threads (976..980) Kazan Parts 1 -5 for general purposes and leave active baiting threads alone, except on one of the most active draw attention of discussants. A hypthetical question 1) I buy round-trip air ticket from my local agent and mail it along with original receipt to a Russian 2) The Russian takes them to a local branch of Tax Ministry and pays taxes on it and gets a receipt 3) Further assume the Russian has fulfilled all necessary visa requirements and obtained a US Visa to visit me Now my question under these circumstances, AS FAR AS THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IS CONCERNED, can this Russian simply board the plane, free to leave Russia to visit me? Eddie might raise this scenario with his Russian diplomat friends, and post if there is something else still remaining from the Russian side.

well the girl i talk to atm that hopefully is real we only talk on through site. no personal addresses or emails given. she did not do usual send to direct email thing and i did research. she paid on site and is very personal and is into details. i get all my answers. i still am caustious but ill cross my fingers. i need info anyways to know whole process. i got frind in russia and i plan on doing alot research. she knows i will fly there first to meet. i dont mind paying money for her taxes flight.. as long as i know she is real. i did some cultural searches to to see what life is like in her area and what interests those women and what they look for. i also did a search on failed foriegn marriages. communication problems etc, adjustment, new country. you have to be prepared.

OJAS I see you copied some of my Russian posts on the Natalia from Ossiniki thread? But why would you want to transcribe them into cyrillic? It's just me calling the scammer that crawled onto the thread a worthless, lowlife scumbag (etcetc) in Russian, generally verbally abusing him, and he replies to me in kind (actually all the cyrillic parts are his). I deliberately didn't use cyrillic so that no-one else would be offended by my language. (and actually I notice that you've repeated a couple of lines). nothing much to understand really ;D...but I can tell you that sukin syn = son of a bitch

Johnny,USA 2007-12-08, 10:54:40 you're almost right. It's not unusual that Russian internet cafés install the BAT!. I discovered this myself in a café in Ulyanovsk. And a real Russian girl used to write to me from a café in Saratov that used the BAT! the reason is that the BAT! is normally used for spamming, and the cafés can make a bit of extra cash on the side renting out to spammers. Unfortunately, very many scammers use the BAT! as well, especially the organized ones. In other words, the BAT! is not a scam certainty on its own, only in combination with other factors such as spoofed IPs, copied form letters, the use of proxy servers, and so on.
