THANK YOU so much people for the info on this!!! I over the last week have been contacted by a Russian Lady. Photos being sent with every email, and what I did being suspicious is I put in quotes the first whole 4 lines of the email except for my name and google searched it.Sure enough the EXACT email was on this site. Then did it with the next email, same thing, except for my name being replaced over the last persons name in the letter posted. Absolutely identical for paragraphs at a time.

I am in the process of playing one of these 'russian scammers'. I was contacted by her(him) thru Match.com she says her name is 'Angel', how many russians are called 'angel'? And at first she was from a small town in Wisconsin, I could tell there was something amiss, and she kept avoiding my questions about where she was from. She finally said she was from 'Sanchursk, Russia'. She has sent quite a few very nice photos but I can't seem to find her face in any of the scammers sites. But her letters to me are everywhere in the scammers pages! So #1, I know shes a scammer, #2 She doesn't know I know, #3, I'm gonna play with her as long as possible and see how much of her time I can waste. Should be fun!...anyone want pics of her to see if we can locate her face on the sites? or do you have any ideas about messing with her? just email me, if nothing else, she's a cutie!...Tommy - Minnesota

Western Union uses a ten digit number called a Money Transfer Control Number that the recipient needs to pick up the money. It is numeric; not alphanumeric, so just make up a ten digit numer starting with a 9. Run its IP address through the folowing site: http://www.geobytes..tLocation. Have fun.

Well, my 'Russian Angel' (we have started to call her 'Tortured Syntax'..) was sent a new letter from me asking if she would send some more 'revealing' pictures of herself. She sent pics of her in jackets and scarfs..I asked for pics of her family, I pics of her on vacation in the city, no family. I sent her some poetry, and asked her opinion of it, she sends letters but they are all form letters with nothing to to with my questions. I don't think they even read the letters being sent to them, but reply with the same standardized order of letters, I wonder if you can program a computer to just automate this whole scam? anyways, I have decided to start sending her pics of me in different stages of disrepair, to see if anyones looking at the pics. yesterday I sent a pic of my dog, and said it was me at the zoo with my son. she never mentioned it in the next letter. I today sent a pic of me from early in the morning, not shaven, hair a mess, with a dirty tshirt on...we will see what she thinks of that...the following is her last letter received this morning, after I sent the picture of the dog and called it me.....: Hi mine lovely! Dear Tommy I very much liked your warm words in my address I thank you for these words, they to me are very pleasant. I hope, that at you all OK! It was pleasant for me to read your message and thank for your words. I send you other picture, probably to those pictures which you already saw, you got used. I hope, that This picture will give again to you good emotions. Today my work is finished earlier and I, having written to you this letter, I shall prepare for a dinner for my family. Mine to mum is sick a little and today to me to prepare for it. By the way, dear, what foodstuffs is loved for you? That you prefer; sweets, meat, a fish? Inform me it Tommy.
