Well, I don't know whether or not I have been scammed, or am in the process of being scammed. I have met a woman on the Internet and have corresponded with her for several months. She wants to come to visit and says she has 4 weeks vacation she can take. She ususlly takes 2 weeks in May and 2 weeks in August. I told her June would be better for me. She was able to change from May to June. I have sent her $1100.00. She did not ask me for the money, but just if I could help her. I have talked to her (or some woman) on the telephone 3 times over the past 3 months. No other woman has ever called me. She now has her visa for the U S she says, but the Russian officials require her to have $1000.00 to show them, before they will let her leave. She says they require this because she has no family in the U.S., and they want her to be able to return should she encounter a problem. I really have given my heart to this woman, and want to help her, but with all of the talk about scammers, I just want to know she is real and truthful. Her visa is good for 90 days. How do you ever know if anyone is truthful. Sometimes you just must chance it. Well, as they say, there's no fool like an old fool !
