Question:

How much memory does my screensaver consume?

Answer:

The screensaver can be found on your hard disk as a *.SCR file - and here is a simple trick to known how much memory it consumes. This trick will work with windows NT 4, 2000 and Windows XP.
  1. Rename the *.scr file to *.exe file and execute it.
  2. Press ctrl+alt+del, go to the process panel and find the name of your screen saver in the list.
  3. Read there how much RAM it consumes
